Chic Beach Apartment..Steps to the sand!


Villa Blanca is a beautifully restored six unit vacation rental apartment complex in a safe, tranquil, garden like setting steps to the beach and boardwalk. All of the apartments are named after world famous beaches. Our 'Avalon' apartment is bright and sunny with spectacular white water ocean views. You can hear the waves and smell the surf! This spacious two bedroom, second floor, apartment is charming with bright decorator furnishings and chic beach touches. The large kitchen is fully equipped for making a gourmet meal or simply packing a picnic lunch for the beach. The grounds of the building contain a barbecue area and outdoor shower with beach toys and boogie boards. This upscale, family friendly neighborhood is a minute walk from every restaurant cuisine you can imagine, plus shopping, grocery stores, bars and all the boardwalk activities. Freeway access to all San Diego attractions is nearby.


Our Avalon apartment comes access to a single car garage.

We are dog friendly during non-Summer months, and no more than 1 under 50 pounds. Please disclose any animals traveling with you at time of booking. Thank you!

Cute 2BR apartment up the street from the beach. Small gated yard with chairs if you have a dog. Clean and well appointed with a laundry room on the property, which was very convenient. Walking distance to restaurants and bars. Would recommend and stay again!

We wanted a place within walking distance to the beach and were not disappointed! The apartment met all of our other needs as well - lots of restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance, parking (garage is small but there is space to park in front of the garage), and quiet. Just a note: Apple maps took us to the other side of Mission Blvd.; Google maps got us to where we needed to be.

Ideal Location for a Beach Vacation

This property was clean and comfortable for a family of five. Best of all, it's about a 3 minute walk to a very nice beach, which made spending plenty of time relaxing by the ocean so easy, especially with younger children. We would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed the location of this property. Steps from the beach and lots of food/coffee options. The property manager was very easy to work with and helpful. The garage is small so don’t rent a large car or truck if planning to use the garage.

The condo was clean. No AC but breeze with windows open was comfortable. Walk the walkway along Pacific Beach was close by. Enjoyed lovely San Diego!

Loved the location!!

I stayed here with my two kids and really enjoyed it. Our unit had a view of the beach/sunsets which was awesome. The apartment was nicely decorated and had pretty much everything we needed. The only downside was an electrical issue that was being fixed when we left. We would definitely stay here again.

Stephanie and her family were wonderful guests! They were our first "full" house of guests using lots of computers, cell phones, hair dryers and all the electrical appliances that we need today...in addition to electric space heaters as she was here during a chilly week. She had a challenge with blowing fuses. We scheduled an electrician on the day of her departure to fix the issue..trying to correct the problem during her stay would have further interrupted her vacation. We've had guests since her stay and have no reported problems. Everything is fixed. We offered the Koshak's a refund or discount on a future stay. We were delighted when they agreed to a discount on a future stay. We look forward to welcoming them back later this spring. Stephanie....we hope to score five of five stars on the next stay!

Super one minute to the beach. 20 minutes to seaworld and old town. Be carefully when parking, tickets for wrong parking start at 50$ and they check.

Great little place by the beach

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a perfect size for our family of 5 and just down the street from a great beach. The kids had surf lessons just one block over on Law St. The beds are really comfortable and even the sofa bed worked well for us. The barbecue was in great shape and we used it almost every day. Parking was not too much of a problem even during 4th of July week. Would definitely stay again.

We are thrilled that these guests had a great stay.....we think that Villa Blanca is the perfect place and location for a family vacation. Parking is plentiful in this are but as of mid July this apartment also comes with a private garage.

You could see the ocean from the windows thus a perfect location! The apartment was clean, in good repair and relatively spacious. It was very inviting and the price is right. Highly recommend.

We loved the location-close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Property managers were very responsive-the bulbs burned out in the bathroom and they were replaced promptly. The hot water and water pressure in the bathroom were awesome.

Really quit, cool, comfortable apartment. Great yard and surroundings. Good place to decompress. Had a tub draining problem which required call to property manager and then a plumber next day, but it was handled. Nice relaxing stay.
