I grew up in Longview and now live in Austin. This is absolutely my favorite place to stay when I return to town to visit friends and family. Ice cream shop, brewery, restaurants all within a few steps outside the door. What more could you ask for?
Perfect location for some downtown shopping and sight seeing. The loft is very comofrtable and elegant. Feels like a little new york city life in east texas. And Lynn is a very attentive and accomodating host as we had to make more than one last minute changes to our reservation and she delivered without hesitation. Highly recommend!
I stayed here for almost 2 weeks for work. Seems the downtown area is revitalizing. Cute coffee shops, restaurants and kid activity center. It's about 10min to anywhere. The loft itself was clean and comfortable. Shower could use more water pressure and needs a toaster. Basic kitchen pans only but plenty of cups and dishes.
Overall I'd stay again.
The loft is adorable and as pictured. It was a great place to stay in downtown Longview. Our only caveats would be the train, the couch, and lack of hangers. The train is right next to the building and those late night trains going by can wake you up but that could be fixed with a good sound machine or maybe ear plugs. The couch is kind of narrow and stiff so it's wasn't the most comfy couch to snuggle up on at night to watch TV but it wasn't unbearable. The loft could also use some more hangers. There is plenty of hanger space but we found only one hanger. I would definitely consider staying here again if I'm ever in Longview again. The pros far outweight the few cons.

Thank you so much for the suggestions. We have ordered hangers and a noise machine for the loft and will have those items added Friday!
We hope you can return soon.
This turned out to be a great spot in downtown Longview with good dining options and coffee shop in close walking distance. Room amenities were great, it’s a great spot if you like old buildings and it is nicely decorated as well. The stairs to get in are the only real problem if you have any mobility issues. We would happily stay here again and explore more of the city.
This was such a cute and welcoming property for my daughter (17) and myself. She was competing in a rabbit show for FFA at nearby Maude Cobb Convention Center and this property was so so convenient! I had a question for the property owner prior to the trip and the response was so very quick so I felt great about communication should we need anything while we were there. We definitely didn't mind the stairs leading upto the property (it helped me work off my steak, lol). If there is another show in Longview, we would absolutely stay here again.
I actually live in town. But I used this adorable loft for a quick little mommy getaway for a couple days. It was lovely and cozy. Great to be able to walk around downtown for everything I needed. My only heads up is the stairs are pretty steep and narrow without much of a landing at the top door. But with a heads up you’ll be good. I will definitely stay here again for anymore mommy breaks I might get.
The location is amazing, the property is located where all the action is in downtown Longview. Longviews world of wonders, the art museum, the brewery, the farmers market, etc. etc. are all right there. The property itself is great too. We went with our two kids (5 & 8) and they slept on the pull-out sofa which worked fine.
What a delightful place and great location. We love staying there while we were visiting our son at college the only drawback was an alarm was going off in the hallway the first night but after getting a hold of maintenance they had it fixed by the second night… We would definitely stay there again
