Our guests say this is a hidden gem in historic downtown Wilmington! This one-bedroom suite features a private bath, kitchen and temporary membership to Wilmington's exclusive City Club. Enjoy a comfortable living room complete with desk, sofa and Roku TV. Sleep in the luxury QUEEN bed and relax in the large jacuzzi tub or stand-up shower. Please note that the fireplaces are not functional, as they are many years old and just not safe. We hope to have them back for winter 2025. Also, we no longer provide parking with the stay. There are numerous paid and free parking spaces in the downtown area. The Inn at City Club is within walking distance of many other fine and casual dining restaurants, coffee shops, nightclubs and local theaters.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

The host wants the parking pass returned to room.
Our friends left with theirs. This was not clearly communicated to any of us.
I happened to run into maid so that’s how I found out.

There was a dead bee hanging on the curtain. The coffee reservoir was empty, seems easy enough to have this filled for the guests. Only option was coffee, tea would have been nice. No napkins or paper towels. Housekeeping tried to enter room unannounced and attempted to open latch with finger through door crack before check out...creepy.
Everything was just as pictured; beautiful suite, stunning antiques, comfortable bed, all within walking distance to all of Wilmington’s attractions. Would definitely stay again and recommend!!
Beautiful historic Wilmington home converted to vacation stays was beautifully appointed in late 19th century and in historic downtown Wilmington with waterfront, tea stair ants and shops within walking distance. Highly recommend for authentic historic Wilmington stay.
We so enjoyed our stay in this historic property to everything in downtown Wilmington. Spacious living room, with modern amenities like microwave and Keurig, with gas burning fireplace and beautiful antique furniture. Large adjacent bedroom, with super comfy mattress and bedding. Good internet and keyless entry. Excellent restaurant on the premises, with great drinks and personalized service. If you are interested in living in the “gilded age” for a few days, this is your place! Free parking during the entire stay, and some tasty baked goods as a special treat. Several flights of stairs to reach our second story site, with gorgeous sunset views over the Cape Fear river.
We enjoyed our stay very much. Upon entering this historical building, you are taken back in time. The charm and beauty is not only evident in the architecture, but in the furnishings and decor. We stayed with friends that booked other rooms. All of the rooms were spacious with comfortable furniture and beds and extremely well taken care of. The property is conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants, shopping and entertainment in downtown Wilmington. One of the amenities we enjoyed was sitting on the front porch with friends overlooking the beautiful courtyard area. We highly recommend staying at this property if you plan to visit downtown Wilmington.
This is a charming historical home in the perfect location in the heart of downtown. You can easily walk to Front St and Market St for dinner and drinks, or you can just walk downstairs to the City Club restaurant. Parking is directly across from the Inn and included in your stay.
Tom was very responsive and super helpful. He gave great recommendations for coffee and breakfast within walking distance in the morning.
The room was huge and I like that they maintained the historical feel with the decor. The bed was very comfortable, which is often hit or miss in a VRBO. There’s a little kitchenette which we didn’t really use except for the wine glasses and bottle opener 😊
This was a lovely getaway for us and we’ll definitely be back! It felt more like a stay at an Inn than a VRBO. Thanks Tom!
I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful suite. I felt like royalty! It was perfectly clean, beautifully set up, and had everything I needed and more. Plus the location is literally amazing, within minutes of everything in downtown Wilmington. Don’t pass this up, you must stay here!!!!
