Toledo Bend waterfront Great for family vacation, fishermen or hunter's.
Beat the heat, Good A/C, nice shaded porch overlooking lake. Almost always a nice breeze through porch. Great for a family or group of fishermen. A lot of big bass caught right off back yard, see pics. Neighborhood boat landing and 6-mile boat landing right around the corner. Floating boat dock that accommodates 1 boat covered and 1 uncovered. Note that the dock is currently damaged and flipped over due to a tornado that came through. Once the water levels drop we will try to repair. Currently guests have been docking on the grass bank next to the dock.

It was great, got to spend my birthday in a quiet and peaceful place. Host was very nice & helpful. Neighbors were pleasant also.
Property was good for our fishing trip plenty of room for four guys , close to boat ramps only negative was tight neighborhood made it a little difficult to park boats but not a huge deal , overall good place to stay wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again

Not 5 star but very nice.
A good place to hangout and rest. Has a nice back patio but no warf or dock to park boats. Inside was clean and very comfortable. It was the best place for what we were looking for for just being a couple days there.
Our group of 5 were pleasantly satisfied with the accommodations.Fishing was great and being located in 6mile centrally located to the waters we wanted to fish.

Lake was great! Camp was …
Correct info: directly on the lake, space for all, cold AC, hot constant water, Incorrect info: no dock/boat slip, not clean,

I’m interested in not clean part, I get all 5 stars for cleaning, my cleaning folks are pretty thurough. As for boat dock, can’t do much about a tornado destroying it few weeks before you arrived and I did let you know plenty of time to cancel if you so chose to
We enjoyed our stay! The back porch has a nice view of the lake. Plenty of space to hang out. Close to restaurants and grocery store. Fishing was good.
We had a great time, the owners are very responsive to messages. Camp was comfortable and has a great boat deck. Public boat launch only a mile away. Loved the covered porch! Very peaceful!!
Great camp with private boat dock. Very relaxing, really enjoyed our stay.
It was exactly what we were looking for. A clean camp house, private boat house minutes from several boat ramps. Nice porch and relaxing atmosphere. Other houses in the community could use some upkeep, but that's typical in small town lake subdivisions. Didn’t matter to me, this cabin was well kept and clean. We would stay again.
It is a nice, clean cabin/lake house—spacious and homey. Loved the back patio and view. Some of the surrounding properties are kind of junkyardish but we didn’t have any interactions so it did not factor in. We had very nice family time.
This property is in a great location. It is in a small neighborhood, but it is very quiet. It was very clean and fit my large family of 9 with no problems. The back porch looking toward the lake was my personal favorite part. Every morning and every evening sitting on the porch just listening to the sounds of nature and watching my kids play in the yard or fishing was so nice. We will definitely book this place again in the future.
the ice maker wasn't working and no water pressure at kitchen sink.

I'm not sure what is going on with sink pressure or ice maker, or if they're related, but will check it out. Thanks for heads up. Hope your stay was otherwise positive. Also note that the lake is 4-1/2 feet low. Launching kayaks from bank normally not as challenging as it is currently.

Disappointment
Yard needed mowing, pier was still damaged, and couldn't get to the lake by it for all the debris. There was only about a ten foot gap in the hydrilla to fish from the bank. At times the house was about 83 degrees inside

Damage to dock from tornado out of my control. Cant control hydrilla in lake, it’s a lake. First I’ve heard any ac issues. Not sure what it is about vrbo guests, nothing but trouble. Get all 5star happy guests from the other site that starts w a, in fact i’m a superhost on there for that reason. I reckon pay the price for pampering if that’s what you require. At least I let you retrieve your fish you left behind, I mean who checks out of somewhere and expects to be able to go back and get it several days later, says a lot about your character right there. You are quite welcome to never come back, ty
Everything was great except the the dock was there with access to fishing but when we arrived it was sunk and twisted metal sticking out the water.. we looked for a place with a dock so the kids could easily fish but was disappointed greatly to get there and find out they couldn't fish .. the grass was far to high to fish from the bank.

Very sorry if you didn’t read description completely. States clearly that dock was destroyed by a tornado in early March, completely out of my control, and has not been repaired yet.
This place was just what we needed. It was 13 of us and everyone enjoyed themselves. It is more than enough room to move around and not bump into each other. The house was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The yard is nice and shady, the neighborhood is quiet, the next door neighbor was very pleasant and the pier was nice and the fish were biting. The owner was very timely in responding to us. No one wanted to leave.
Nothing fancy but definitely worth it.
Communication with owner was awesome.
The lake was 5-0 ft below full pool.
Just barely enough water to float my Bass Tracker aluminum bass boat at boat house in backyard.
Nice cut to fish in late evening off boat house.
Definitely will stay again when fishing that side of lake.
