Lakeside Cottage located on a protected cove, private beach with full afternoon sun, boat launch, dock, hot tub, kayaks, canoes and custom furnishings. This darling home with rustic charm sleeps up to 10, offers 3 large porches, ample outdoor space for entertaining or shaded areas to cozy up with a good book. Gas grill, outdoor shower, horseshoe pit, W/D and much more! Walking distance or a quick boat ride to the Dough Boy Donuts/ Coffee Shop and Sokokis Seafood Shack & Ice Cream. You can pick-your-own blueberries at Libby's & Son's just up the road and for groceries, there's a well-stocked supermarket/ liquor store around the corner. Ideal Friday to Friday rental. Bring your family and have some fun!

This was our third time staying at this beautiful house. It has everything you could need plus more. We had the best time with our family enjoying the yard, the lake, and the house. Highly recommend to anyone that is looking for a relaxing, quiet, and secluded vacation.

Our family loved our stay here... Private cove with sandy beach, hot tub, outdoor shower, canoe, kayak and paddleboard kept us happily in the lake every day. Claudia and Tim are very generous with many unexpected extras. Highly recommend We will be back!!

Celebration weekend

We were in the area for our son’s wedding in a nearby town. This property was the perfect place to relax and play between wedding activities. We enjoyed paddling on the lake, bbqs and having evening fires at the solo fire pit. The kitchen was great for meals and upstairs and downstairs areas for outdoor meals was perfect. I would book again in a heartbeat. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Sokokis Lake stay 2023

We loved staying here! The hosts thought of everything we needed for a multi-generational family stay. We had fun with kayaks, canoe and paddle board, jumping off the dock, and fishing. Inside was spacious and comfortable. Even the weather was perfect!

Lovely cove setting. Great lakefront for kids! Stayed a week, 7 kids 4 to 11. They loved jumping off dock, deep at end, more shallow on side. Easy for watching them too.They loved using kayaks and paddle board. Plenty of life jackets!We did walk to ballfield and icecream, but it was a very busy street with no sidewalks.Super duper clean home!!(and I'm picky about this) very responsive host! It was a wonderful week with grandkids!

Perfect lake vacation

For the fourth year in a row, my friends and I had a magical time at "The Cove." The place is in a perfect private location and ALL the amenities. We lucked out with incredible weather. Claudia and Tim are absolute gems. Just the kindest people, even dropping off some extra firewood for your early in the week. They are so easy to communicate with and very helpful. I cannot stress enough that this is our happy place and we look forward to it every summer. Can't wait for next year.

Family Vacation

The house was right near the water. We had 5 kids from the ages of 7 - 4 They loved the sand,dock and fishing. There were 2 kayaks, a paddle board and a canoe. We had a great week.

FANTASTIC!!!

We can't thank camp "Go Ahead" enough for letting us share their fantastic camp for a week! We had such a great time! The whole property is perfectly set up for fun and convence. All the amenities a family could ask for were included! Plenty of room for everyone and the owners were super responsive and helpful.

Perfect family vacation spot

Our family had a wonderful time on Sokokis Lake! The house is located on a peaceful cove, and you don't feel like you're right on top of the neighbors. The house really had everything we needed and was well laid out and organized. We brought some of our own water crafts but there was also a canoe, kayaks, and a paddleboard we could use, as well as life jackets for the kids (perfect for paddling out to get ice cream in the evenings). Our hosts went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed, and they were incredibly communicative. Having the hot tub overlooking the lake was pretty spectacular!

A beautiful escape

This is our second time vacationing here and we loved it just as much as the first. It feels like home, largely because Claudia and Tim make everything so welcoming and warm. They're incredibly responsive and accommodating. The cottage itself is immaculate and well-stocked with everything you could need. The privacy and quiet that the cove affords can't be beat. It feels like your own swimming hole and lakefront oasis. We will keep coming back every summer for as long as we possibly can. It is truly a gem!

Perfect Vacation-year 3!

This year, my best friend and I rented this perfect cottage in Limerick for the third year in a row. It's truly beginning to feel like a home away from home. The location is private and literal steps from the water...a little cove that feels like our own giant swimming pool. Any and everything you need is provided by our amazing hosts. Furthermore, Claudia is wonderful to communicate with and easily accessible. The house was, once again, immaculate. Camp Go-Ahead is truly my happy place and I am already excited for next year. Great week at the cove!

We had a lovely week at Camp Go-ahead :) It was a bit rainy, but luckily it was mostly at night. We canoed, kayaked, padleboarded and fished off the dock. It was fun exploring the cove and the lake. The swimming was great, a nice sandy bottom and deep enough. We had a fire in the solo stove, and toasted marshmallows - the quintessential summer vacation! The hot tub was great, and the outdoor shower and foot wash was absolutely perfect. The road was busy and a bit noisy, as were some neighbors, so we didn’t get to enjoy the beautiful front porch, but we spent most of our time in the lake anyway. Thank you for sharing your home with our multigenerational family!

Beautiful Lake Front Hideaway

We had a wonderful stay at this property! It was like vacationing at a 5-star resort. Beautifully maintained home with a gorgeous view of the lake/pond. We rented a Pontoon boat with easy access to the dock. The hot tub was a great treat along with the solo stove for smores. The four grandchildren loved swimming and tubing in the lake and also playing in the Bonus patio room. Everything you need in a kitchen was there - even a filtered water dispenser. All the beds were comfortable including the pull-out couch. Internet access was great as well. There is a restaurant, grocery store and doughnut shop within walking distance. Can't wait to come back next year!

Perfect Getaway

The pictures didn’t do this place justice. My family and I had an amazing time at Tim and Claudia’s. Everything was very clean upon arrival, they even left a cute gift basket! Everything was well stocked throughout the house. Communication with Claudia was great, they even had a pump sent over when we needed to inflate a football. So sweet. We had the pleasure of meeting Tim on our way out too and he was wonderful. It was a scorcher the week we stayed, so not having AC was a little tough of the time but it cools down a lot most nights. Being in the cove is perfect. Sandy beach was a gradual walk in and my 4 year old son LOVED jumping off the dock over and over, as well as going in the canoe. Hot tub was amazing at night and the outdoor shower was so convenient. Hummingbirds and dragonfly’s everywhere, it was a magical little oasis for us. Thank you again!

Best lake house vacation ever!!

The house itself is exactly as pictured. It's also INCREDIBLY clean and had even more amenities than listed, including just about anything you'd want or need in kitchen and grill ware. Being on the cove made us feel like we were in our own paradise (certainly helped by no one being in one of the houses next to us). The lake itself is lovely and was fun to explore by kayak and canoe. The fire pit is a large Solo stove, which made building and maintaining a fire so easy. Claudia and Tim are the best hosts I've ever encountered — so sweet and super responsive. What more can I say? Loved the house and every minute of our time there.

Beautiful home, great week!

Camp Go Ahead was the perfect rental property for my family and friends. The house was beautiful and had everything we could have needed. We had excellent weather, good fishing, and enjoyed the area around the house. We enjoyed all aspects of the lake, fishing, kayaking/canoeing, paddle boarding, floating in tubes, and even made friends with the family of ducks! Our family also took a trip a few minutes away to Libby & Son U Picks and had a very fun day of picking blueberries. We also enjoyed the local bar, the Peppermill Restaurant, and Dough Boy Donuts just a few minutes walk away. Any problems or questions we had about the house were immediately addressed by the lovely owners of this home. Definitely will be renting this finely crafted home again!
