Everything you need is inside and yet the world awaits outside. Two blocks from restaurants, shops, cafes and three blocks from the train station (which connects to the airport). We purchased this home in 2022 because we fell in love with Seattle while visiting our daughter Macy, a student at UW. We live most of the time in Oakland, where David works for an arts nonprofit in San Francisco and Stacia works in finance. We have another daughter Darby, who is a sophomore in high school. Rounding out our household is Soxy, a large, angry cat.

Why they chose this property

We live in the hills above Oakland and with this place, we wanted to be immersed in the energy of a city. We love walking to restaurants, bars, and shops, and this place offered extraordinary access to that, but felt like an oasis when we wanted that. We also love walking up the hill and north a few blocks - it's leafy and the homes are gorgeous. And Lake Washington is just over the hill.

What makes this property unique

The roof deck was a key selling point for us. The views of the city, with the mountains in the background are simply stunning.
