Exclusive Island Getaway for Boat Owners ~ An Outstanding Secluded Experience ~
Located in Caseville, this holiday home is on the beach. Port Crescent State Park and Sandy Dunes Adventure Golf are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Lake Huron and Albert E. Sleeper State Park. Huron County Nature Center and Wilderness Arboretum and Depner Farms are also worth visiting.
The house has everything you will need to enjoy a happy stay. It overlooks the lake and is mostly private except for other people in close rentals but the beach area is wide enough for all to have their space.
Clean, comfortable, spacious cottage especially the second floor bedroom; well appointed with nice kitchen/refrigerator and all needed kitchen ware, wifi, efficient air conditioning units, beautiful lakefront, bed linens and towels fresh and clean, washer and dryer available on property, close to Port Austin, and Caseville, restaurants and putt put course.
The property was pretty much as advertised. Nice large shaded yard leading down to a beautiful beach. Enjoyed the sunset views. We would definitely stay here again.
Wonderful stay. Beautiful area and community. We were blessed as a family to be together. Home was exceptionally clean we couldn’t ask for more. Everything we needed was there for our use. The shared property was a bonus and of course the beautiful lake was perfect for our group. The host was exceptional and answered all my questions timely. We want to plan another stay next year. Forever grateful for these memories!
We had an amazing time at the bungalow! The house was decorated so cute. I stayed here about ; years ago with my family and the transformation was amazing! The grounds of the property were well kept and the beach was beautiful.
The house was perfect for a getaway with friends. Plenty of room in house, a large beach with lots of beach chairs, and a beautiful view of Lake Huron. Would love to come back with the family! Also, the property owner was friendly and helpful.
The lake was beautiful. The cottage was clean and comfortable. Our group preferred a closer city or town but it was great to decompress enjoy the beach and each other.
The shared common area outside was not ideal but we made it work.
The cottage itself is great- very comfortable and clean. The beach is beautiful and it’s a great spot on the lake. The only “minus” is the listing isn’t crystal clear about the fact that it is sort of a resort compound- all the units are very close together (my kids bedroom shared a plywood wall with another unit) , there’s not a lot of privacy, and the outdoor amenities are communal. We had a great time here, but I would’ve loved to have known that going in.
Celebrated my 30th birthday at this amazing cottage on the water! My family has had cottages in Caseville/Port Austin since the 60’s, and this place made us feel at home. The location is amazing, right on the water. It has all of the amenities you could need, and if not, the stores aren’t far at all! Highly recommended for family and friends.
This beach house was the perfect “chill” vacation location. We enjoyed being right on the water and the private beach. We also enjoyed the backyard space and the fire pit. One of the days we were there was rainy and the house was perfect for playing games and hanging out. We loved that the layout of the bedrooms gave each of us our own space. It’s right between Caseville and Port Austin so we were able to go into these small towns and check out the little shops, grab some ice cream at Blue Moon, check out Thumb Brewery and get some good eats at Beachy’s.

Family vacation
House was plenty big enough for 11 of us. Loved the game room. Beach was beautiful and yard. A lot of very close neighbors so no privacy outside. Really enjoyed our time rho and neighbors were great so it worked out well.
Such a great property along the lake. Perfect location right between Caseville and Port Austin, each with plenty to see and do. Wonderful views of sunset from the main living room as well as the 2nd floor suite. Easy beach access (small staircase with hand rails) to a wonderful, sandy and shallow beach. Plenty of space for our group of 9. Quick responses ahead of stay to all my random questions and quick responses during our stay for some minor issues that were resolved promptly. Property also has some smaller units that I’m sure could be booked to accommodate larger groups. Plenty of outdoor seating and space to enjoy without feeling crowded. We would definitely recommend this property and will definitely keep it in mind if staying in the area again

Hi Erin, thank you for the beautiful review. It was a pleasure to meet you. Please come stay with us again sometime. Blessings Sam and Kyle
The location of the property being right on the beach was excellent. The size was great for our family gathering. I liked that there were several areas for family members to retreat to so that they would not be on top of one another. Having a living room, dining room and back porch area along with the common grounds provided the space that we needed to spread out. There were only a few negatives that I shared with the property manager, which were the sliding screen door kept coming off track, the Lazy Susan also came off track, the TV Wi-Fi was spotty, and some of the outlets did not appear to work. The rental cost was a little pricey, but we made it work.
Having the beach in our backyard was perfect.
We enjoyed being on the water and the size of the colorful unit. Plenty of dishes, glasses, cookware and silverware. Note there are issues with the electrical outlets where some didn’t work at all and others wouldn’t hold plugs securely. Cabinet doors in kitchen loose.

You can't beat the location, but....
We have been coming to Port Austin for years. We love these cottages, but they have always been a bit dirty. We were excited about the new owners, but the dirtiness hasn't changed. They have made some nice upgrades, but they aren't very personable and the doors / locks in 2 of the units are a huge issue.
Customer service used to be a thing (pre-pandemic), and it used to matter. I just feel like it's completely lost anymore in the way people communicate. I got locked out of the unit (they don't have keys for all their locks). They gave no instruction of this whatsoever, and seemed very irritated with me and my family as I communicated with them.
We will be checking out some other places next year.
We really enjoyed our stay. The water and sunsets were wonderful. Great time to spend with friends and family. Although the road construction and traffic back up was awful that was outside of the control of the cottage rentals. More communication needs to be made about communal properties outside because some other guests occupied a lot of the things that we couldn’t access. We really enjoyed our time very much though and look forward to coming back again sometime. Thank you for everything
Clean and spacious! Great for a family. The only thing that came as a surprise is that the outdoor “stuff” (picnic table, fire pits, etc) is communal so it’s either share, or first come first serve. There were plenty of beach chairs. Grill is charcoal. Wifi was spotty but it was a busy time to be there. Would stay there again.
