This was a nice clean property for me and my sons on our deer hunting trip. It was warm and comfortable and plenty of room for our gear. We had a successful hunt the first day so we checked out two days early and went home. Would we have any refund or credit for our next stay?
What I expected and worked well for what we needed
The property was clean. They communicated great! No concerns or issues, would stay again. Thank you!

Very disappointing
The property was very clean and that was appreciated. We booked for four nights but left after two because the noise from the highway resulted in lack of sleep and enjoyment overall. The property is just off of a two lane highway with much heavier traffic than you would expect in a rural area. Also, several less than ideal factors such as blinds not adjustable, no lightbulb or chord long enough to use in the second bedroom, living room ceiling fan out on order (we tried every switch available and couldn’t get it to work). And the door to the patio was warped and very difficult to open. Way too high a price to pay for this property.

Lake George is a charming small town named after the Lake. The town only has 1 stop sign and a small 2 lane road runs the length of town. This lends to a small town atmosphere. This property is tree lined and like many other properties located just off the road, given the small population the town is rather quiet and at nights one can hear the cars from the road. In the daytime, one can hear motor powered boats on the lake.
We welcome travelers from retirees to those with small kids and we pride ourselves in providing a safe environment for our guests. Which is why our blinds are cordless and needs only to be lifted from the bottom or pulled using the bottom to open or close. We focus on being responsive to our guests needs or inquiry, that is why we send multiple communications to address any questions early. Unfortunately, Mary did not address these concerns during her stay as we would have responded quickly to address how to operate the ceiling fan, which only needs the living room switch that turns on the ceiling fan light on and the pull cord to adjust the speed of the fan from off to high speed. We would have also notified Mary, that we don't typically leave extension cords in the unit to avoid the frustration of searching for one and given she felt the need to rearrange the nightstand and lamp to suit her needs, we would have happily informed where the electrical outlets where located in the room to decrease any frustrations. We look forward to hosting you!!
