About this property

Mountain View near Toccoa River

Located in the heart of The Aska Adventure Area, this cabin offers and ideal basecamp... peaceful seclusion on a natural sanctuary, while offering close proximity to the best of the area's outdoor adventures, shopping, dining, art galleries in Blue Ridge and Ellijay; or beautiful views from the area's many wineries and orchards.

Situated on 12 private acres and directly facing 50 acres of Chattahoochee National Forest, Aska Stargazer provides abundant space to stretch out, relax, and immerse yourself in the rejuvenating natural surroundings. Take a walk in the Appalachian Temperate Rainforest from your front door!

Enjoy gorgeous mountain views from a two-story deck, a treehouse-like screened porch with a gas fire pit, a rocking chair front porch overlooking the Chattahoochee National Forest, fully equipped kitchen, a new (2025) Weber gas grill, a Nordic Sport Jet hot tub, wood burning fireplace, games, and music.

After a long day on the river or playing outside, unwind in the living room with an expansive wall of windows overlooking the view, a wood-burning fireplace, 55-inch Roku Smart TV, a telescope for skywatching on clear nights, and a record player with a selection of records.

We have complimentary high speed internet as well. The Roku Smart TV's are set up in guest mode. Bring your sign in information for your favorite streaming services. No need to sign out when you leave; guest mode automatically signs out at the end of your stay.

New in 2025, we have added a selection of small workout equipment for your enjoyment. Yoga mats, small dumbbells, kettle bells, bands, a pilates ring, foam roller, and ab wheel are stored in the living room. The coffee table easily rolls out of the way, making it easy to enjoy a workout from the best view in the house, or you can take your workout outside to the deck!

There is a half bath off the upstairs living area.

The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, cooking utensils, appliances, serving dishes and utensils. We have supplied just about everything we could think of to make it easy to whip up a feast. New in 2025: a 12" Cast Iron Skillet, and an electric griddle.

For coffee enthusiasts, we have a drip style coffee maker, a Keurig, and a French Press.

After whipping up a feast, gather around the dining table that comfortably seats six and bar seating for two, or eat under the stars on the patio table.

The lower-level bonus room is where the fun begins! It includes a 65" Roku Smart TV, ample seating, a wet bar with a mini-fridge and Keurig, a lighted shuffleboard table. There is also a music corner to expand your entertainment options if you are musically inclined: a Donner electric weighted-key piano and guitelele (small-sized guitar).

Escape for the night to one of three bedrooms.

The main level king bedroom includes a reading nook and ensuite bathroom with jetted soaker tub, separate shower, and French doors that open to the upper deck.

The lower level has two bedrooms and one bathroom.
One guest room has a custom king-sized laurel canopy bed with string lights, and the other has two sets of Twin XL sized bunk beds (4 total beds) the kids or even adults will love.
