Spent a great long weekend there with our family of 4. Cabin was as advertised. Kids loved the game room, adults loved the hot tub and fire pit out back. Nice and secluded location yet not a far drive into town or to surrounding activities. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful Getaway

Extremely pleased with our stay at “The View”! Travelled with a group ranging from 1½ years old to mid-80s and we all have a wonderful experience. Response to issues through the app was prompt and helpful, check in and out was easy, and the house and location were absolutely perfect. 10/10 would stay here again!

Great location and aptly named!

This cabin has a great location that gives you the”remote” vibe but is super close to shops, groceries and restaurants. We had a lovely Christmas here with our 2.5 yo granddaughter. The view is lovely and we all slept well, given the sleep habits of a 2.5 yo!

Place was great. End of the road so it was secluded and quiet. Loved the game room and the view. Road was easy access (95% paved). Location was great too - not too far from downtown Blueridge. Awesome place.

Amazing Getaway

The View was perfect for our family vacation. The beds were comfortable, the view was amazing, the hot tub was hot, and the kids had a blast in the downstairs game room. The drive is a bit steep but the car handled it fine in low. We would definitely recommend this property.

The view October 11-18, 2024

The View was a beautiful property and home! Fairly easy to get to and a great location and access to mountain bike and local Vineyards. If we could change it request anything we would need better and more towels, upgraded pillows and a better stocked kitchen … we were a group of 4 adults.

View was amazing…Hot tub was nice and clean. Beds were comfortable. Family loved the game room. Only complaint is the cleanliness. Lots of Knick knacks that could use dusting and cob webs on the deer heads, tv stand had thick dust behind and sides, etc. also, weather was nice and opened a few windows that the sills were full of debris and dead bugs. Bed comforters and blankets could use a good cleaning. We did not use them and thankfully brought our own quilts. Being pet friendly, clean carpets would have been nice. I did bring Lysol spray for peace of mind. The top deck outside definitely needs an upgrade! Overall our family had fun.

Thank you for your detailed feedback! We’re so glad to hear you enjoyed the amazing views, relaxing hot tub, comfortable beds, and that your family had a great time in the game room—that’s exactly the kind of experience we hope to provide. We truly appreciate you bringing the cleanliness concerns to our attention. That’s not the standard we aim for, and your comments about dusting, window sills, bedding, carpets, and the outdoor deck are incredibly helpful. We’re addressing these items with our team to ensure a more thorough clean and to evaluate needed updates moving forward. Thank you again for sharing your experience. We’re glad your family had fun overall and would love the opportunity to provide you with an even better stay next time!

Property was in a wonderful location. Access to Blue Ridge and Mc Cayesville was great. Only minor issue with the rental was that the utensils and silverware need to be updated so that there are plent of forks and serving ware.also another pan would be great. Amazing Cabin with a few improvements needed.

Amazing cabin. Clean and spacious with an amzing game room. The upstairs bedroom is cool. Need to clear the trees to enhance the view. The road into the property needs some work. There is a serious washout to cross. The hot tub was luke warm when we arrived and not up to temp for 24 hours.
