House was immaculate ! Beds very comfortable! Host very responsive. Was happy with Eqipment available to use on the water.Expected to swim in water comfortably but outside was a little unkept and not tidy. Still had a fabulous time tubing in the state park.
We absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous rental. The home has been beautifully updated and felt incredibly fresh, modern, and clean—making it the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day enjoying the outdoors. The location is truly unbeatable if you are looking to explore the area's natural beauty. Located on the river and within a close distance to many local resturants. It served as the perfect home base for our trips to both Rainbow Springs State Park and Devil's Den. It was so nice to have such a comfortable, top-notch home to return to after a day of swimming, snorkeling and tubing. The house had kayaks and paddleboards available which we took advantage of using in the mornings and late afternoon. We highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to visit the springs!
House was very nice and the garage was well stocked with kayaks and paddle boards. We made great use of the fire pit and seating area as there was a nice cold front during our stay.

My family of 4 had a great time at this property. The beds were super comfy, it was very clean, there were plenty of kayaks and water toys to play with, and communication with the host was quick and easy.
We plan to be back!Loved staying right on the river, took advantage of the paddle equipment provided every day! And the fire pit and grill!Comfortable beds, good AC, well stocked house. Recently remodeled so everything is clean and comfortable
We enjoyed our stay at Flamingle, offers easy access to the river, kayaks and paddle boards available. Beds are comfortable and accomodations are perfect. Love the outside area and will definitely be back.
We loved the location and the tranquility of the river in the back yard! The home was perfectly clean, decorated beautifully and the beds were very comfortable! Easy check in and the host is available for any questions with a quick response time.
Really comfortable and exactly what we needed :) the beds are great, plenty of room, stocked with paddle craft.. thoughtful things like some waters in the fridge, lovely decor and lighting really added to our stay. Thank you!

Blue cover haven
Beautiful home with great neighbor to the north on a canal that connects directly to the rainbow river. This home is everything that the pictures and description say it is, including updated interiors and plenty of watercraft to enjoy the river.
Overall good place. Pictures claim on property there was a waterfall and there is not. House was well stocked. Beds very comfy. Not much organization in the garage and grounds outside could use some weeding. Neighbor mowed which helped. Kayak seats are in need of help and several chairs by fire pit were broken. But all in all it is a good place.

Thank you for your feedback and for staying with us! I'm glad to hear you found the home well stocked and the beds comfortable — we always aim to make it a relaxing stay. I wanted to clarify that the waterfall pictured is actually located at the nearby county park. Unfortunately, VRBO’s automated system miscategorized the photo, and I’m currently working with them to have that corrected.
We’re also in the process of renovating the landscaping this fall, as we experienced some loss from recent hurricanes. As for the fire pit chairs — thank you for bringing that to my attention. Temporary chairs have been placed, and new sturdier ones are arriving this week.
I appreciate your comments, and I'm always working to improve the experience for future guests. Thanks again for choosing our property!

There are definitely pros and cons to this property. We arrived at night to find the landscaping a bit neglected, which made for a less-than-ideal first impression. The check-in process, however, was very smooth and easy. Our first night wasn’t great — the beds squeaked quite a bit, and we found a few black beetles crawling in the master bed. I was honestly ready to leave the next morning… until we took the paddle boards out.Once we paddled down to the main river, everything changed. The Rainbow River is absolutely beautiful — crystal clear, full of fish and turtles, and surrounded by peaceful nature. We spent the whole day snorkeling and paddling, and it completely turned our stay around.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m glad to hear you enjoyed exploring the Rainbow River, it truly is a special place! I do wish you had mentioned any concerns during your stay, as nothing was brought up when we spoke the second day, and I would have been happy to address them right away. My housekeeper is extremely detailed and thorough, and no issues were noted during her inspection prior to your arrival. I’ll still make sure the landscaping and bedding are checked again to ensure everything continues to meet our standards.

only had text contact with host who did not respond. The home was great inside and very well stocked. The exterior yard was very overgrown, the back patio was growing algae and was slippery. There was a ramp made of plywood laying on the ground to cross over to the boat dock that was scary and a set of nice chairs on the patio and one was missing support screws, so we set it aside. The BBQ was not working. This is a nice neighborhood with some nice homes and the neighbors were pleasant to us. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but were disappointed in the condition of the exterior and amenities.

Thank you for your stay and for taking the time to share this feedback. I’m truly glad to hear you enjoyed the home’s interior and found it well stocked.
I do want to clarify that I did not receive any texts, emails, or platform messages during your stay. It’s possible the number was mistyped, as I am always responsive when guests reach out. I’m very sorry if that caused any frustration.
Thank you for alerting me to the exterior items you noticed. I’ve scheduled maintenance to inspect the grill, though the previous guests were able to use it without issue. I will also have the patio treated to remove any algae and ensure it’s no longer slippery, and I’ll make sure the chair with missing screws is repaired or replaced.
Regarding the temporary wood ramp to the dock, the entire dock is already scheduled for a full renovation soon, but I will address the safety and condition of the existing setup in the meantime.
I appreciate your feedback, and I’m glad you were still able to enjoy your time in the neighborhood. Your comments help me continue improving the guest experience. Thank you again for staying at the property.
Very clean and completely updated. Comfortable furniture, lots of space, plenty of dish choices. The most paper products provided of any place we have stayed. We kayaked and paddle-boarded daily. Access to the river is very easy. Wildlife is abundant. Good food choices in town and close by (Don Pepe's and The Breakfast Station were our favorites). Swampy's is close enough to walk to. Close to lots of historic sites and walking/biking trails. So much to do that we would never run out of things. Most mornings spent sitting by the river. The only things I would suggest to future renters is to bring bug repellant and sunscreen for your outdoor adventures.
