Nice low cost place
The owner has been renovating. You can see the updates they made. There are large TVs in both bedrooms and the living room. The bedrooms are a good size with a closet. The beds are brand new. They are not as comfortable as I would have liked, but we all have different likes in a mattress. Sheets and comforters were clean. Towels were not only clean, but they were also soft and plush. The shower was a little challenging to navigate because the handheld is mounted lower. I’m 5’ 6,” and it hit me in the chest. A friend that was with us is 6’ 4. He had a more challenging time. The kitchen is a work in progress. Clean, with nice staples such as clean salt and pepper shakers, sugar container, coffee and creamer, and new pans. There is one window AC that kept all of us cool day and night. If you are with people with whom you wouldn’t want to keep your door open while sleeping, this may be difficult for you in the summer. There is room for 2 vehicles in off-street parking. However, keep your car off the neighbor's dead clover patch, if you don’t want a nasty note on your windshield. The neighbors upstairs are super friendly and helpful. They will even share their reusable grocery bags. The house is a short walk from great food and drinks in Geneva. Although it’s not a pristine neighborhood, everyone seemed to keep to themselves and it was quiet at night.
