Royal Mauian Oceanfront, Fabulous View! Last Minute February and March special!

After a long trip to get to Maui, it is wonderful to walk into the condo and be wowed by the view. You are right on the ocean. On the 2nd floor, you are looking directly at the water. I think everyone heads to the lanai immediately. Unpacking can wait. You can enjoy the incredible view & sunsets from your own oceanside lanai. Watch turtles, whales (in season), boats, snorkeling. You will want to eat meals & spend a lot of time there.
The condo has just had more renovations done. Both bedrooms have king beds (2nd can be made into twins). Two bathrooms with showers. Fully equipped kitchen. Washer & Dryer in unit. Beach towels, chairs, umbrella & cooler.
The Royal Mauian grounds are located directly alongside Kihei's famous Kamaole I Beach Park.
There is a large freshwater (heated) swimming pool with chairs & tables beside it. The lawn has lounge chairs for guest use.
The rooftop garden is a favorite spot! With a refrigerated serving bar and gas grills it’s the perfect place for your sunset dinner. The rooftop garden offers a 360 degree view of some of the most beautiful scenery in the world; splendid views of Haleakal standing proud at 10,000 feet and the islands of Lanai and Kahooawe in the Pacific. Enjoy some of the world's most beautiful sunsets, picture perfect every night! As well as incredible stargazing.

We loved our trip! Took our 18-year-olds there for their birthday and we also celebrated Thanksgiving. Second year in a row! Highly recommend this condo. It was very clean and very cozy. It was a great place to call home base. Highly recommend going down to Foodland and getting some amazing steaks and barbecuing on the roof. Listen to some Iz and watch the sunset. We also saw whales!

Fantastic

This was our second time staying at this property and it truly feels like a home away from home. It has everything you could possibly need, it is by far the best equipped place we have ever rented. The views are excellent and the location is unbeatable. Between two beaches with snorkeling right out in front. Downsides for some maybe the lack of a/c and spa but I am not fond of either of those so this a winner for me!

The property had everything we needed for our family for the week. Clean, great location, great views, and awesome rooftop! Located between two very nice beaches, and good snorkeling. We saw fish, sea turtles, and a stingray!

Wonderful ocean front with beaches very close and grocery plus cafes across the street.

Beaches and cafes and groceries all so close. Great walking plus great sunsets from the balcony. And a “library” down the hall. I am going back.

Wonderful stay!

The condo is spotless, it’s kid friendly and has the best view. The wifi was great - our kids watched videos on iPads with no issues. The place was well equipped and we had no issues with ants. I highly recommend staying here! We hope to come back.

The overall property is older but very well kept. This unit is well equipped, updated and clean The second floor location minimizes having to use the elevator and the view is still extraordinary! Communication with owner was smooth and everything was as advertised. Excellent beaches and snorkeling at your door along with shops and restaurants right across the street make this the perfect location

Vacation with family

We had a lovely stay at the Royal Mauian along with our family. We occupied three units including this one and they were all very nice. We have stayed in this unit several times and appreciate the furnishings and especially the well-stocked kitchen for cooking and for using the upstairs BBQ. We hope to be able to stay here again and would recommend it.

Perfect Beach Vacay!

Amazing condo! The location is perfect with an easy walk to two beaches! Lots of snorkeling & turtles out front. The condo is outfitted incredibly well with everything you could possibly need. It was hot during our stay but the afternoon winds cool things down and we were often out & about during the afternoons. Gorgeous sunsets from the lanai. Host was wonderful. Mahalo!

Outstanding View!

This is hands down the most fully equipped place we have ever stayed in Maui. It has everything you need and then some. Views from the Lanai are just beautiful and the location between the two beaches is perfect. Shopping is nearby, some of it within walking distance. The only negative for some might be the lack of jacuzzi at the pool, my husband did miss that a little. Will be back for sure!

Magnificent stay!

The Royal Mauian is a very incredible condo. We stayed in a second floor apt (214). The condo was clean and well stocked for any family. Lots of love is present in this place. Plenty of cooking supplies including a wide variety of spices and utensils. Having stayed in a variety and of condos, Vrbo, and other rental properties this one is amazing. The owner was very good at communicating before and during our stay. She was clear in her directions to renters and she even offered to pay for the trash bags we had to buy! Even without air conditioning the condo was comfortable once we opened the windows and turned on the ceiling fans. My elderly parents joined us on this trip. The facility was easy for them navigate. The living quarters were comfortable and the beds were nice. A bit firm for me but very nice. The staff was friendly and enjoyable. They kept the grounds clean and tidy. The pool was always spotless and the grounds were neatly groomed. We loved our stay!!!

Great Place to Stay with Friends

From our initial communication with the hostess, Kathleen, & throughout the booking process through to the end of our stay, everything was as promised & went smoothly. The condo unit is well maintained & with the views from the lanai & rooftop BBQ area, we were in heaven. If you're looking for a place right on the ocean, this is it! The primary suite allows for the windows & door to the lanai to be left open to listen to the waves rock you to sleep & awaken to them in the morning! Seeing the turtles swim by (& next to them while snorkeling) in front of the building was a real highlight. Being able to walk for miles along the beaches -Kamole I, II & III was wonderful. Kathleen provided great information for check in & recommendations on places to check out close by. She also arranged to have the twin beds made up into Cali King for the other couple we travelled with. We were fortunate that she was able to provide us with a late check out on the date we were leaving. We enjoyed spending time on the lanai, the lounge chairs on the grass area & the pool, the rooftop BBQ area (which has amazing views and a wonderful set up for prep, barbecuing and eating). This condo is in a great location for walkability not only along the beaches, but to some great restaurants & a bit of shopping. Very close to Wailea & easy to travel to other parts of the island. We are very happy with our stay here & our time on Maui. We definitely recommend this condo & look forward a return to Maui!

Wow, Just WOW!

We have been travelling to Maui for over forty years. We have stayed in many different resorts, timeshares and condos. By far and away, this is the best unit we have ever stayed in! It has it all: location, view, facility, beaches, pool, sunsets...everything! The unit itself is extremely well maintained, the view of the shoreline, ocean and sunsets are beyond description and the location between Kamaole Beach I and Kamaole Beach II is unbeatable. The beaches are perfect for lounging and swimming. The shore is gently sloped and there is no undertow. Terrific local snorkeling and paddleboarding. The temperature of the water is perfect. There are plenty of walkable restaurants, shops and stores. Some of the best cinnamon rolls you have ever eaten are right across the street...just look for the line! We found ourselves enjoying the afternoons on the lanai, watching the waves and sunset. Maui has always had terrific sunsets, but the location of this building makes them spectacular! There is a great pool which we used daily. There is a rooftop deck that has expansive views, barbeques and tables for dining. There is even a small kitchen on the rooftop. The owner is very responsive and has really thought through everything in putting this unit together. All you really need to do is bring your bathing suit, some shorts and a book! She has maintained the unit beautifully. In the end, it is located on a premium beach, in a premium building and has been updated beautifully!

Great stay in a fantastic location

This is an ocean front unit with a good sized lanai for meals and watching the sunset. Beautiful beaches on either side and great snorkelling right in front of the building. Pool and grounds were very clean and well kept. Unit came with everything we needed - beach towels, beach chairs, small beach cooler tote as well as everything you need in the kitchen to cook and use the rooftop BBQ area. Beds were comfy and unit was clean and functional - second bedroom is smaller than it looks online. Very close to restaurants for eat-in or take-out Thai, pizza, seafood, morning cinnamon buns and more. Paddle board and snorkelling gear rentals available just across the street. Property manager was extremely helpful and accommodating. We had no issues and would definitely stay here again.

Great location

Condo is in a great location. Between two beaches and great snorkeling spot (recommended for adults and probably not for the kids first time) and we saw turtles from the lanai. The place has all the amenities needed for a one week stay. Only reason I knocked off one star is because the condo doesn't have an AC and even in September it was warm and humid. Even with the ceiling fan on in all the rooms it was still warm and there is only one small plug in fan, but overall it was still an enjoyable stay.

Great condo!

Everything was as advertised. The rooftop area with grills was awesome to enjoy sunsets. Great beach on either side and i saw turtles swimming in front of condo and at beach. Owner kept us informed of all codes changes very well. Condo had folks sweeping/cleaning common areas everyday, very clean.

Amazing Spring Break!

Property is fantastic!! The location is close to many restaurants and stores. The condo was well equipped and fit the needs of our family of four nicely. Rooftop picnic area was the perfect spot to see amazing sunsets!

Awesome vacation in Beautiful Maui

We absolutely loved this apartment. Gorgeous view of the ocean, great sunsets and perfect for a family of four. Felt so much like being at home. Loved the Maui style decor. Very convenient location for food, shopping and pretty much everything we needed to do. Kathleen was awesome in replying to every question we had within minutes. We did not experience any issue with ants. There was a minor hiccup with the internet, which got resolved fairly quickly. We are already looking forward to our next visit here. Thanks for an awesome relaxed vacation.

OK Place, A bit run down, Ants Issues and NO A.C

Overall the view from this unit is what makes it. Pictures are fairly accurate, renovation was done roughly 10 years ago, if I had to guess. The internet router is extremely old and very slow service. Less than 4 mbps, you cannot work from this unit. I’d describe the unit as tired, as an example the umbrella had been broken for quite some time, I notified the onsite property manager and got a extremely cheap replacement, which was useless. In December we cooked in this unit, there are three ceiling fans (which are slow) and a small fan. There is an ant infestation and the owner needs to hire an exterminator, throwing 5 dollars worth of Home Depot traps will not address the issue, which has been mentioned by others. The patio doors kept falling off the tracks when you’d close them. The dishwasher sounds like a freight train going coming by. I would not recommend this unit or rent it in the future, especially with the future rates they’re looking to charge.

Why they chose this property

We chose the Royal Mauian because of the waterfront location. Nothing is between the lanai & the ocean, but a well-maintained lawn. You are right next to Kamaole Beach I and a few minutes from II & III.

What makes this property unique

We like the 2nd floor location in the center section of the building. You are looking right out at the ocean.
Sleeping to the sound of waves. In the morning you can watch snorkelers, paddlers before you’re out of bed (primary bedroom). Watching turtles while drinking your morning coffee. Whales during happy hour. We like that you can use stairs, as well as elevators.
