This eclectic 1950’s charmer is located in the historic neighborhood of East Hill in Pensacola. It is the perfect home base for exploring all that Pensacola has to offer. Nestled on a hill, overlooking the bayou, you’re sure to find serenity in this gem of a home. Enjoy the homes fantastic location, just a short 15-20 minute drive to Pensacola’s Snow White sand beaches. The Bayou House is comfortably furnished with everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. We have a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook a four course meal, but if you prefer, our area is loaded with top of the line restaurants. Several located right in our quaint little neighborhood.
Our home is spacious and inviting, accommodating eight guests comfortably with three beds and a sleeper sofa. Top of the line washer and dryer and cable/internet provide the comforts of your own home. Best of all, our home sits atop a hill overlooking Bayou Texar. Our private property extends across the road to the waterfront. There you can relax in the gazebo and enjoy the sunsets. We have paddle boards and kayaks that are stored on the right side of the home for your use during your stay.
Our home is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood, so we ask that you not plan any large gatherings or loud parties. Our quiet time hours are 8pm to 7 am.
We do allow small pets with PRIOR approval and a non refundable pet fee of $150.
Water views from every room! Lots of windows for natural lighting and beautiful views. The Bayou House sits atop a hill and looks over the private road onto our waterfront area.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Bayou house

The house and location were fabulous. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards. Beautiful views and comfortable accommodations. Paula was very friendly and helpful.

Family vacation while sending our son off to college orientation

Our son’s orientation for University of West Florida was during the week and we decided to all travel up as a family to attend and turn it into a mini vacation! The house was perfect! We brought our dogs and boat! During the down time the kids fished right on the waters edge and we were able to use the boat ramp down the way! We enjoyed a ferry ride to the fort and beach and of course spent time admiring the beautiful campus during orientation and equally beautiful views from the big bay windows while at the house! The property manager Paula was impeccably helpful and kind! She took care of any issues promptly and even went out of her way to help us when we ran into car problems!😂😂 We will absolutely be staying here again!

Pensacola Bayou awesome

We loved our time at this house! Our puppies and kiddo felt at home. Relaxing area night and day; within a short drive to the beaches; welcoming nice neighbors...Only a couple of minor negative issues not worth mentioning in public.

The Bayou House is a serene home, located on a private dead end street, sitting on a hill overlooking the bayou. The gazebo provides a view of the morning sunrise and evening sunsets. It’s perfect for a family vacation. Nestled in a historic neighborhood, you will enjoy walking and viewing the beautiful homes and corner parks. Many locally owned restaurants and coffee spots within a few miles. While it’s not a party house, it’s a great place for a small family get together or shower for a bride or mom to be.

What makes this property unique

Enjoy kayaking on the bayou or just sitting and relaxing by the water. This is a private waterfront area and you will not have any unknown visitors.
