About this property
TRASK RIVER HOUSE: A unique home with great views! Max 9 adults, 3 kids
Trask River House is a 4 bedroom home on 31 acres that overlooks the beautiful Trask River Valley. This private home has exceptional views of the Valley and Coastal Mt ranges. Great home base to explore the north and south coastline. Renovated in 2022. Even my grandparents who built this home would love what we have done to TRASK RIVER HOUSE!
We are intermittently onsite for landscaping maintenance.

PLEASE READ:
I apologize in advance for my frankness, however this is my family home.
This is an amazing property for family and friends to gather. I am more than happy to help guests plan their Pacific NW adventure. However, our home and as hosts, we are not a good fit for people wanting to come for the weekend to party and get heavily intoxicated. We ask if that is your intention, that you find a property and hosts that better fit your needs.
The space
TRASK RIVER HOUSE has huge picture windows that bring the vistas indoor as you sit aside the large wood burning fireplace.
The TRH kitchen has dozens of additional appliances and tools. Dinnerware and seating for up to 20 friends and family makes this an excellent venue for family reunions, or just a weekend getaway!
The TRH sun-room serves as the 4th bedroom with a 180 degree unobstructed views of the stars and sunrises. Our hot tub and BBQ patio is next to this multi-purpose family room and bedroom.
Pacific NW room (Bedroom One) has a new queen size bed and sitting area with views of the gardens. PNW Room shares a double sink vanity and shower with the Hydrangea room.
The Hydrangea Room (Bedroom Two) has a queen size bed and sitting area in lovely hues of gray and antique pink. It looks out to the gardens.
The Rose Room (Bedroom Three) is the master suite: a new king size bed with sitting area and computer desk. The huge picture window brings the valley and gardens to your doorstep! En suite bathroom.
All bedrooms have twin roll-away beds in spacious closets.
Tillamook Game Room: air hockey, Foosball, large screen TV, plenty of board games, puzzles, card games, pool table, and game room furniture. A nearby half bath shortens pit stop times!
- Beautiful flower gardens (hydrangeas, peonies, lavender, day Lillies, lilacs, and much more).
- Delicious fruit orchard (seasonal pears, plums, apples)
- Tables and chairs for meals and relaxing outside. Plenty of room for larger events
- Wood fire pit is seasonal. Firewood provided.
- Option of tent camping or RVs if holding a larger event. Note that an additional fee will be charged. Check with owner.

About the host
Hosted by Angela Hunter

Our home was built by my grandparents in 1973, my grandfather a dairy farmer and business man. Our family immigrated to Tillamook from Switzerland to farm over 100 years ago. I was raised on a dairy farm about 2 miles from our home. I purchased our home and 31 acres in 2012, with plans to raise my 4 children there. I met my husband in 2014 while completing Grad school in Seattle, which lead to us moving to Vancouver, WA in 2016. We had longterm renters for a few years, but I missed my beautiful home. We decided to renovate the home, and open the doors to short term renters, allowing us to share and enjoy our home again.
Why they chose this property
The property is very unique, with a modern artistic flare, with a little bit of whimsy. I spent 18 months collecting furniture and jotting down ideas. This isn't just a short term rental, it is my home. I wanted to create a fun, beautiful, relaxing space. The kitchen is equipped so I can make family holiday dinners. I love to bake, so there are ample baking pans.
What makes this property unique
Our home offers an amazing view, with many areas to relax and take a break from life.
