Right across from the beach!

Garner's Getaway is a beautifully designed modern home with amazing panoramic views of Cape Lookout, Netarts Bay, and the Pacific Ocean. This comfortable 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom home has so much to offer its guests. The open living/dining/kitchen area is the perfect place to gather with friends and family while enjoying the breathtaking views out of the numerous picture windows. You can curl up with a good book and a glass of wine on the cozy seat by the windows overlooking the bay and ocean, or stretch out on the plush sofas, with cable TV and DVD player, and opt for a relaxing movie night instead! Take advantage of all that Netarts and the Three Capes Loop has to offer! You can go hiking, kayaking, clamming, crabbing, fishing, biking, golf, and of course there's always just relaxing! It is only a 1.5 mile beautiful stroll to Oceanside where you can get a cup of coffee or enjoy a nice lunch. Garner's Getaway is just steps from the beach for all your sand castle building and kite flying needs.

** Note: Up to 2 dogs are welcome to come! There is a $65 pet fee to cover the additional cleaning required after your departure.
** Note: Your nightly rate includes damage insurance should anything accidentally break or get ruined during your stay.
** Note: I send out a rental acknowledgment to sign electronically after a booking is made. It is very straightforward and simple, but if you would like a copy of the contract beforehand, just let me know! :-)

Wonderful beach house

Perfect short get away with our college kids!

We loved our short visit to this adorable house. Perfect location, awesome open floor plan on the top level for hanging out together and watching the ocean.

Great family vacation

Spring break weekend in the hail/rain!! The house was warm and inviting! Great view & location. Would definitely recommend! My kiddo looooved the bunks! The kitchen is stocked for the family as well!

Loved Our Stay

The house was well equipped. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed. This house has a great vantage point, and we had plenty of comfy chairs to look at the changing weather. Also, it was a very short walk to the beach.. We’ve stayed in a lot of places on the Oregon coast and this is one of our very favorites. We hope to come back.

We got everything from snow to sunshine and could watch it all form the living room. The house was clean and well stocked. The layout is good and the beds were comfortable. Great View

We stayed here mid-week for some great crabbing- I messaged the owner and got a very prompt response regarding bringing a boat. The view was great and the home was well stocked with puzzles, games, and cooking items. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the amenities. The only feedback I would give on improvements is regarding the television and bedroom lighting. We wanted to book a place with two TV's as we have kids who wanted to stay separate from adults so that they could watch television/movies. We brought our gaming system and fire stick so that they would have their own fun away from the adults, but we discovered the TV in their room was not connected to anything except a VCR. There was no cable and the TV was pretty old, so it did not even have any ports or HDMI to connect to. The kids ended up staying in the living room watching really annoying stuff while we cracked crab, so that was a bummer that they did not have a kids area they could go to. There is a large pole light directly outside the guest bedroom window outside, we were blasted with light all night. Make sure you bring something to cover your eyes as its pretty bright in that room at night and there are no black-out shades, just standard blinds that let the light in. Other than that, we had a good time and loved the view the most.

This is a beautiful property is a really special area. There is a whole street of rental properties, so you can string together several for a larger gathering. The beach is sandy and walkable for about 2 miles. The way the house is laid out is perfect to take advantage of the ocean view. Be aware that the living area is on the third floor. If stairs are an issue for you, this might not be the place for you. The owner/manager was responsive to a couple of issues we had. All in all, it was a wonderful stay.

It only takes a minute to walk to, then you can walk for miles. The condo had everything we needed. Be aware that the stairs are a challenge for carrying in your belongings... Good knees required.

Huge windows with a great sunny view!

Property is located right across the street from beach which includes great access for clamming, walking the beach, running the dogs, kayaking and building a bonfire. The street is a dead-end and majority of the homes appeared to be other rentals. One surprise for us was that there are two flights of stairs on this property and no bathroom on the main level - which meant a lot of up and down. Great if you are up for the glute work out and increased heartrate but might not be the best option for older adults, older dogs, small kiddos or people with mobility issues. Property manager Sarah was great - she was easy to reach and very responsible to our one request during our stay. Would recommend and would return if ever in Netarts again.

Beautiful beach getaway

You feel like you are on the beach while in the house. The living area is on the top floor so the sunsets were amazing. The unit was vey clean and well stocked. The house manager was easily accessible and made our stay comfortable. We spent Thanksgiving weekend there so there was a lot of cooking going on and all the accouterments needed were there. The home easily accommodates 8 people with seating, dishes, and linens. Beds for 6 adults but the couch is big enough to put a couple kids. The house is very family friendly with games, puzzles, and movies. There are two decks and a BBQ with everything you need for grilling a steak. One thing I loved were the heated floors! The one down side for me were the stairs. There is a steep set getting up to the first floor and another steep set getting to the top floor. If you have mobility issues you might rethink this one. I definitely would recommend a stay here and we hope to go back.
