Chic, updated log cabin nestled in the pine trees of Sprucewold!

This chic, updated cabin is nestled in the pine trees of Sprucewold, a 100-year-old, summer, log cabin community and is sure to provide an unforgettable Maine experience. Relax on the deck with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and enjoy the peace and quiet of the woods with deer, wild turkeys and the tranquil sound of Woodcocks.

Or, take advantage of restaurants, boating, shopping and breweries, just a mile away in downtown Boothbay Harbor. Whatever you choose, its sure to be a memorable experience.

Once inside, you’ll see that it has been furnished with an original dining table, but most pieces are newly updated and includes a Restoration Hardware sofa and chairs. The original fireplace is still operational, and the mantel displays a 40-inch flat screen TV that has basic channels, or you can stream your own services if you have them: Netflix, YouTube, Amazon, etc.

The kitchen has been updated and includes a new refrigerator, sink, small appliances and countertops. It is perfectly designed and stocked with all the supplies you need to fix a simple breakfast or a gourmet dinner. A new propane gas grill is available on the back deck.

Really nice, clean cabin in the woods. Excellent front deck and back porch where you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. Short drive to town for great restaurants and shops. My wife and her sister stayed here last summer and loved the cabin and location, so we decided to go back this summer.

Lola’s lodge was excellent. They have everything u need and the decor is outstanding. Beds are very comfortable and the porch was great. We sat out there every night. It was so peaceful but close to restaurants and stores. Will definitely come back next year.

This property was very well equipped with cooking and dining essentials. Surprisingly, there was a very nice assortment of bathing products, body lotion, cleaning supplies and even charging cords in each of the bedrooms. Very comfortable bedding and ample bath and hand towels. Since the cabin was built long ago, a Mini-split provided more than adequate air-conditioning and the window units in each of the bedrooms worked very well. The outdoor seating on the front porch was comfortable and well shaded. The host was very accommodation and responded quickly when there was a brief neighborhood power outage. There were flashlights and a battery-operated lantern and we burned a Duraflame log in the fireplace for additional lighting. The town of Boothbay Harbor had lots of good restaurants. We enjoyed the Puffin and Whale boat ride and the nearby Maine Botanical Gardens If we return to the area in the future, we'd definitely stay at this cabin again.

Great cabin in great location!

We really enjoyed our stay at Lola's Lodge. The cabin is nestled in the woods but close to town and was a great place to relax after a day of exploring the area. It has all the amenities you could possibly need, is nicely decorated and very comfortable. We were intrigued by the history of the cabin and the area and look forward to a return visit!

Amazing cabin!

My mom and I loved everything about the cabin. Walkable to downtown Boothbay Harbor, portable AC was great as the temps got up around 80 while we were there, styling and amenities were all great! I would recommend this VRBO to anyone heading to Boothbay Harbor.

Lola's Lodge is a very quiet, updated, clean cabin convenient to Boothbay Harbor either driving or biking and walking if you don't mind walking a mile or so.” The location of the cabin is nestled in Sprucewold a wooded log cabin community adjoining the town, but far enough out of the rush to be quiet and peaceful.”

What makes this property unique

The front deck is a great spot for taking in a lazy morning or afternoon. Kick back in an Adirondack chair or take a nap on the sofa. If you’re feeling more adventurous, take a walk down Crooked Pine Street and enjoy the wildlife. You can catch a glimpse of the ocean through tall pine trees or walk to the floating dock for fishing. Barrett Park is right around the corner and is great for kayaking, swimming, canoeing or picnicking.
