This is a repeat stay for my family. It's a great location with enough beds for our extended family and very responsive hosts. We discovered an issue with a broken bed frame on night one and they had it fixed by lunch the following day.

The house was as advertised and pictured and was excellent. Roomy, kitchen well stocked with glasses, cups, plates, silverware and cooking needs. Beds were comfortable. Very pretty yard. Great place!

The Catch on the Cape was a wonderful old house updated / renovated beautifully! we were three families, and it accomodated us all really really well. and super close to everything you’d want to do in cape charles!

Catch of the Cape is an amazing home! Our 3 families just returned from a wonderful week there. We were a mix of adults and kids with kids ranging in age from 10-14. Everyone had a blast. The house is beautiful and each room is spacious. My kids loved hanging out in the upstairs playroom and the game room. We spread out between the kitchen and the dining room for our meals. A few bonuses - the outdoor shower, the pavilion for the golf carts, the sunroom and the make-up towels (that level of detail is much appreciated!). I gave 4/5 stars for the property not being as listed ONLY because the pictures had a regular pool table in it and when we got there, it wasn't there. But Doug and Emily responded so quickly about needing to update the pic and what happened to the room. AND they replaced that pool table with bumper pool which everyone loved to play over the week and it was something new for them. Doug and Emily are SUPER responsive and answered all our questions. They even sent us a lovely and comprehensive list of things to do and we did many of those things and had a blast! A 10/10 stay!

Great family get together

This house was perfect for a large group of all ages. Older construction is endearing with little tricks to learn. Outside area of s fantastic. Nice to have a fire pit and beach chairs as well as a few things for the kids. The pool table room is a big plus

Excellent Cape Charles house

The house was perfect for extended family vacation in Cape Charles. Comfortably housed 8 adults and 8 kids ages 1 to 12 years. The house is on a quiet corner with a great backyard patio setup that you won't find at many properties in the area and is a quick golf cart ride to the beach. Host was responsive to questions, and we had no issues during the stay.

A wonderful weekend getaway

We had a spectacular time at this property and our hosts were absolutely fabulous. Their personal touches and quick response to any questions was so appreciated. The house was a quick golf cart ride away from city center and had a beautiful outdoor space that was great for kids. The kitchen was stocked with every cooking utensil you might need and they even had a toy chest and beach toys for the kids! Had such a wonderful stay and will likely be back again soon!!

Wonderful place

We had an outstanding stay at this location. It was the perfect fit for our entire family. We enjoyed the back porch in the morning and the pool table room in the evening. All of the decorations are perfect and very up to date. The kids enjoyed the bunk room and all the other bedrooms were perfectly appointed. Great location to all things. We had golf carts and truly loved our experience. Every time we reached out to the owners they had a very helpful and timely response. Would definitely pick this place again!!!

Clean and Fun

Such a great house. Everything you need is there. Grill was brand new. If there was one thing we could recommend to the next guest is to bring a sponge for the sink. Host was available to answer questions almost immediately! Can't go wrong renting this house!
