Our spacious four-bedroom corner home is located right in the center of Cape Charles Historic District on the park. This spacious home with its ten-foot ceilings is just a short stroll from all that the town has to offer. Guest can enjoy central parks summer concerts right from the comfort of the front porch!

Not only is the location golden, but the home also combines timeless charm with modern comforts and amenities, featuring large bedrooms, a sunroom with a serene view of the backyard and a generous dining room ideal for family gatherings, central AC and heat, high speed internet, outdoor grill, smart tv and much more. Having 2 queen beds, 1 king bed, and 1 bunk bed (twin over full), guests will find a wonderful retreat to relax and recharge. This spacious home also has blackout curtains on every window to enjoy a good night's rest. Relax and unwind on the inviting wraparound front porch or gather in the cozy sunroom to challenge each other on Pac-Man or Asteroids arcade games.

Great stay! Beds were comfortable, hosts extremely responsive and accommodating, and living/dining areas were spacious! My only “room for improvements” were the lack of an outdoor shower, regular coffee maker, and the size of the kitchen but we knew those things going into it so still very much a 5-star stay!

Stayed for 3 nights for a fishing adventure. Weve stayed at many houses in cape charles over the years. This was the nicest. Host was very responsive with questions. Amazing location walking distance to most restaurants. Across from the park. Very clean. Nice beds. Highly recommend

Family Getaway

We stayed here with my family of 2 adults & 4 kids. The location of the home is fantastic: right next to the park and a short walk to Mason Ave for shopping. We could hear the summer concert from our front porch on Sat night! My kids had a blast playing the pacman and asteroids games. And the home is probably the nicest rental we have ever stayed in, as far as the quality of the furnishings. The beds were so comfortable! Our only issue was that there wasnt an outdoor hose to wash off our sandy feet so we made do with a cooler full of water to dip our feet in. Also, bring extra trash bags and toilet paper as there is only a limited starting supply provided. Overall, I highly recommend this house!

Great Location, Beautiful House

The house is absolutely gorgeous with tons of amazing architectural details throughout. It is also in a great location central to Cape Charles and across the street from the park. Our 4 year old really appreciated that we could get to the playground very quickly and easily. And having a couple of old arcade games systems was awesome as well! We played those quite a bit. Overall there are plenty of amenities in the house and the beds are quite comfortable too.I do highly recommend renting the golf cart as well, as that made getting around town a breeze, and you can fit in much smaller spaces than a car on a busy weekend. The owners sent several emails ahead of the stay to keep us informed of the check in process and what to bring vs what is provided. We met the owner in person by chance walking out one day as he was mowing the lawn on the property, and he was very friendly and told us about the future updates they plan to make to the property. One thing to note if you have a large family is that there is only one tub/shower. It worked for us just fine, but something to be aware of. All in all we truly enjoyed our stay in this property and would definitely recommend it.

Originally from Philadelphia, (John) and my wife (Rachelle) is from New Orleans, however we make Virginia Beach our home now and have been in the area since 2003. We have been making trips to Cape Charles during this time and really enjoy the small-town charm of the place.

Why they chose this property

It's an easy walk to the beach or to the main street in town. My favorite is sitting on the front porch in the summer and enjoying the concerts on Saturday nights in the park, great seats without leaving the house.

What makes this property unique

Enjoy the concerts in the Park right from the front porch. If you are traveling with children, you can send them right outside to the swings in the playground to keep them occupied, if needed. You do not have to go far to take a peaceful stroll along the pathway in the park, located across the street.
