Amazing house and location to stay in. First time in Galveston and we really enjoyed the stay. House is beautiful and everything is well organized. Plenty of room. Backyard is set up well also. Will definitely be back again
We were looking for a nice place near the strand for a quick getaway. The house is in a great location and was very updated and clean. I would recommend this place and will be back in the future.
I had a great stay at this VRBO! I booked this house last minute and the property manager was extremely helpful and super kind throughout the entire stay. The house was very clean and the provided a lot of supplies within the house which made cooking and cleaning easy. This location is also very close to many Galveston activities! This was such a great experience and would recommend people to stay!
The house was lovely and quite comfortable. The hosts were congenial. With the weather and children out of sorts, it didn't go as planned, but we did have fun. This was my first Vrbo experience. Overall it was positive
We’ve now stayed at this property for the last 3 years. My mom, sister, and aunts and I live to stay here during Dickens! Such a great location to be so close to The Strand. We love this little gem!
The house was very cute and situated perfectly for our little group. the bunk room was perfect for the 2 teen girls, the other two bedrooms were great for us. There was a total of 4 of us who stayed there so we each had our own space. There was plenty of space to chill and watch movies in the living area. Would recommend this house for anyone who wants to be near but not right on the beach. The area was quiet and no one bothered anything.Very cute house.
Great place to stay. No complaints about anything. Good location for a short drive to everything including the marina for our fishing trip, the cruise port, and the pier. Hosts were super helpful.
Definitely recommend!
The house was wonderful. It was very clean and everything that we needed. The property managers were very responsive and checked in with us to make sure our stay was going great. We will use again
This cute little beach house was PERFECT for our girls trip getaway! We found ourselves spending half our time trying to figure out where the decor and furniture was from because of how cute it is! It’s right in the middle of the island and close to everything you could need. The hosts are so sweet and are great at communicating everything with you before arrival. Will 100% recommend to others and use again for future trips!
I was surprised by all the thoughtful touches--plenty of towels for bath and the beach, soaps and detergents, toilet paper, paper towels, coffee, water bottles in the refrigerator, beach chairs in the closet. The house is in a residential area, yet it's no more than a 5 minute drive to Stewart Beach, the Strand, mansions on Broadway, or Pleasure Pier. We ended up enjoying our stay so much that we asked to stay an extra day, and our hosts were able to accommodate us. At check-in, the Yale door lock device was malfunctioning; however, Alberto responded within minutes with an alternate solution, and we had the device repaired the same afternoon. The house is very beautifully decorated. The rooms are small but equipped with comfortably sized beds, dressers and closets. The house was quite clean except for some stray hairs (or possibly soft broom bristles) in the guest bathroom; also, the top stair of the front porch was very wet every morning. Street parking appears to be standard in Galveston, and the host cannot be responsible for the state of the roads; however, the parking situation might be considered a drawback. Similarly, the neighborhood is not particularly pretty, but that seems to be standard as well: we observed well-maintained homes and boarded-up houses on the same block, all over town. If you're looking for luxury, this may not be your choice. If, like me, you're trying to get to know Galveston, this is a great little house in a very convenient location.
We loved the corner lot! The property was true to the pictures. Kitchen was outfitted with all the necessary equipment we needed. I was so glad to see a few bottles of water in the fridge! The beds were so comfy and my kids loved the bunk bed room. The location made it really easy to get around Galveston too! We visited Moody Gardens and did the Polar Express train ride. We could even see the cruise ships docked at the port-so cool! Oh and the WiFi was great!! We really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely keep this property in mind for a future rental!
My hubby & i stayed here to attend Dickens on the Strand. We picked this house because we needed room to park a utility trailer. This house fit the bill, it was about a mile to the strand - so a little bit of a walk, which we did. The king size bed in master was SUPER comfy. While we didn’t use the living room & kitchen much, both were VERY spacious!! The other rooms are a little small but get the job done. If i didn’t have the trailer issue not sure i would have stayed here but it was a very comfortable stay & i would recommend - especially for cruisers.
The house looks just like the pictures and it was really comfortable. We loved the house!! And it had everything we needed. Definitely I will rent it again!!!
We're using Vrbo for the first time and this is our first house using Vrbo, and to be fair, it is a great experience for us and we pretty much enjoy the Galveston beaches ⛱️ and the comfy sets of home
Had a great stay! House was just as it looked in the pictures! There were lots of little extras that made the stay great, from the assorted coffee to the makeup rags! Great house for a family vacation.
