We didn’t do any significant cooking in the kitchen, but we had had everything we did need (especially coffee!). We didn’t use the hot tub, so can’t comment on that.
Wonderful property! This is our second time renting and we want to make it a family tradition. The house is adorable and very conveniently located to everything you could want in the area. Hosts are very responsive and nice!
We loved everything about this property! Just be prepared for the sloped ceilings in the upstairs bedroom which is a converted attic - I hit my head a few times! Other than that, perfect stay!
What a lovely house close to the lake, with great lake view. Everything was ready for us and it was easy to check in. One thing, the upstairs does have low ceilings, so if you are very tall, you will want to stay in the downstairs bedroom. Thanks so much for a lovely stay!
Good communication, was disappointed only with the location not being on water

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
Disliked: Communication
The house is large, well kept and clean. The kitchen is well stocked, we didn't lack anything that we needed over the long weekend we were there. We also used the fire pit and bbq out the back which was great. It is located close to the lake, and there are more open beach areas a short distance away for swimming. There are, however, several signs and notes around the house that include threats of very large charges for things such as the towels aren't in the washing machine or if anything is misplaced. This did make me feel uncomforatable. There was a long to-do list before leaving. Also note there are multiple cameras outside including overlooking the outdoor dining/fire pit area.

Thank you for the review of our lakehouse. We appreciate the feedback but some of this review is inaccurate. We do not have threatning signs around the house and nothing stating fines if you do not put the towels in the washer. We have one sign near the towels that says you will be charged if our beach towels are missing because they were dissapearing every other stay. We never had a complaint of the single sign. Our check out Instructions are very simple
Gather trash
Start the dishwasher
Leave unused beds unmade
Lock up
Again, never had a complaint.
Lastly we disclose our security cameras multiple times before a booking and we live out of state so for the security of the home we have 2 cameras and both are disclosed. One at the front door and one at the back door. We strive to make sure our guests have a fantastic stay and truly hope each stay is perfect, so to get a review like this with no prior communication is very dissapointing.
This is our 2nd year staying here with our group of moms. This house is fully stocked and the beds are (to us) so comfortable! Its a nice little walk to the water and perfect back yard for a fire, or just sitting around talking. Host is great at communicating and quick at responding. Very close to wineries and we took a day trip to Niagara Falls. There is a lot of train activity but didn't bother us at all we actually turned it into a competition!
This cabin-like cottage is lovely. The cottage is steps away from the lake - the sounds of crashing waves is very soothing. There are train tracks near the neighborhood and the trains provide a nice soundtrack when you can hear them and were not disruptive (I think the grandkids would have loved to watch trains roll along the trestle actually). The cottage was clean. I was surprised at how spacious it was. Loads of room to crash about, for those that want/need privacy -there is space for that too. The decor is a nice beachy vibe and feels so warm and cozy. We appreciated the heat as Mother Nature is not quite agreeable for the end of May temperatures/sunshine. Bathrooms were clean. Everything felt fresh in the cabin. Check in/check out was a breeze. Would definitely stay here again.

Thank you Lisa for your thoughful review! We hope to host you again!
We enjoyed the house. It had everything that we needed for our stay: kitchen utensils, blankets, extra space heaters for those who run cold, and fans for those who run hot. Easy access lock box and appreciate the rapid response to any questions.
The only thing I wish I would have known before booking was the trains and how loud they were. We did not sleep very well and could not enjoy our time outside by fire or hot tub because of how loud they were and how many times they passed through, even during quiet hours of 10pm-7am. And the volunteer fire station alarms were very loud and scary at first until we figured out what it was.
"We’re Jeff and Alissa, a married couple with three wonderful kids, living just outside of Pittsburgh. We share a passion for travel, discovering new places, and soaking in the charm of wine country. Our lakehouse is a special getaway for our family, and we’re so excited to share it with you. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!"
