We enjoyed our stay at the house especially the pool. The location was close to many attractions. The management team was very responsive to our needs. The kitchen could use to be updated and the common rooms could use new furniture.
A bunch of friends stayed at this location for an overnight fishing trip. The house was clean, confidently located right off the highway, and close to everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!
This house worked well for a family group getting together. Nice area to walk around and explore, too. There were a couple of issues and the owners and maintenance people responded quickly.

Thank you so much for a great review and for being wonderful guests. You were understanding, communicative and respectful guests.
Very clean and tidy, the home accommodated our group of eight nicely. The pool is heated and is really nice to come home to after visiting all the surrounding sites (i.e. downtown Mystic, Mystic Aquarium, the Submarine museum). 15 minute drive from Mystic. Great communication.

Thank you so much, we appreciate the opportunity to host you and hope that we can host you again!
Picture of pool was misrepresented and unusable. Upon arrival issue reported and remained unresolved. Chair cushion eat in kitchen were dirty and stained. Yard had not been maintained. Pool had tape holding up liner. I would not recommend this property.

We were very disappointed as the pool was not heated as advertised. Most heated pools are 78-83 degrees and the owner/manager told us this pool doesn’t get hotter than 72 degrees. We would never have spent so much money on a home with a pool if we knew it didn’t get warm. I couldn’t bring my baby in and my 3yo could only swim for 10 minutes before crying that he was freezing. The owner/manager was very responsive and sent us a high chair when we couldn’t find the one on the home. But overall definitely not worth what we paid.
Very disappointing property with appliances, plumbing etc in disrepair, missing basic items, misrepresented on website. “Owners” non-responsive to requests. Expensive and extremely aggravating experience.
Our family came and stayed at this beautiful property for a week while our son arrived home from his deployment. It was the perfect space for our family to spread out and stay comfortably for the week. The home was very clean, especially for a beautiful old historic home. The pool was absolutely perfect, as was the rest of the outdoor space. They even came and cleaned the pool halfway through our stay while we were out exploring for the day. The home was also perfect for entertaining as we had friends and family stop in to congratulate our son's deployment. The beds and amenities were comfortable. For future guests, I advise bringing a few extra kitchen items for cooking if you plan to cook/entertain while your staying. The location was close to everything, but in a nice quiet neighborhood. We could not have asked for a better experience.

The property failed expectations in regards to air conditioning where we where told by the host there was air conditioning in all rooms and this was not the case. There was one air conditioner for the enter first floor also not all bedrooms had air conditioner. The heated pool was enjoyable but since it was set to 93 degrees not as refreshing in July also needed to be vacuumed. The furniture was on the verge of braking because the one couch leg was bent and couldn't support a person if they sat upon it. The dryer was vented into the kitchen which gave off emence heat and was a cause for concer so we didn't use. The upstairs bathroom had a large stepup and everyone slammed their toe so it's marked with blue tape. The guest book had multiple pages ripped out suggesting many people had issues also. The house was not well kept up and it showed.
The house was clean, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. However, upon arrival, there were no instructions provided regarding house procedures. We checked in on a Sunday and were unaware that recycling was scheduled for Monday and garbage pickup for Tuesday. All the bins were already full when we arrived. Additionally, there were no kitchen towels available. The property itself is an older home with some modern updates. We were a group of seven, and there should have been more towels, hand towels, and washcloths provided. Several pieces of nonstick cookware were in poor condition—peeling and with loose handles, making them unsafe to use. There were no flashlights available, which would have been helpful during a power outage. The fourth bedroom lacked both air conditioning and a fan, making it uncomfortable. The can opener and peeler were of extremely low quality and barely functional. Also, the glass tabletop in the kitchen was unstable and nearly detached several times, posing a safety risk.On a positive note, the property manager was very responsive when I reached out. When we ran out of gas for the grill, he asked us to refill the tank, and we were reimbursed—though it was still an inconvenience. I made him aware of all these issues on day three of our stay, as I didn’t want to wait until the end to bring them up. He thanked me for the feedback and assured me he would review everything with his team.Overall, I was extremely disappointed. We paid a substantial
We had a very relaxing week at the property! The house was comfortable and beautifully decorated, and the pool area was exactly what we needed. It is a short walk (less than 10 minutes) to the riverfront with restaurants and a few shops, and 15 minutes from downtown Mystic and all of its attractions. I highly recommend this property if you are looking for a place to stay in this area!
