We loved the thoughtful beauty of the home and the property. The home is beautifully designed, with roof angles that maximize the natural lighting through high windows and open spaces that facilitate social interaction. Also, the property is lit in every area for security. Approaching the property from the south, it's hard to see the turnout because of the trees that back the house, but once we arrived on the property, there was lots of parking for several cars. The two decks that overlook the river are a womderful place to relax and watch the traffic on the Thames. The sights include tugs moving barges, sculling crews from the college across the river, and freight trains on the tracks beside the house. We also spent a lot of time on rainy days playing pool on the high-quality table in the living room.Everyone in our group thought the beds were extremely comfortable. All of the beds were large enough for two adults and, though we did not have toddlers, there were accommodations for little ones. In addition, there were plenty of outlets to serve the needs of people with CPAP or other nighttime needs.George, our host, checked in with us during our stay and was available throughout. The location is fine in terms of access to restaurants and stores. We highly recommend this property for a relaxikng stay.
