Located in Kasilof, this cabin is in a rural area and on a river. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Kasilof River State Recreation Site and Kenai National Wildlife Refuge, while Kasilof Historical Regional Society and Kenai Historical Society are cultural highlights. Jumping Junction and Kenai Visitors and Cultural Center are also worth visiting. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails nearby.
This cabin was absolutely perfect in every way. It was clean, well-appointed, kitchen was stocked with everything you need, the beds were comfy, the shower was hot, we loved the location (nice and quiet). My only regret is that we could not stay longer. This was my favorite lodging of our entire trip to Alaska. I hope we will be back before too long!

The quiet cabin was the perfect place for my girlfriend and I to stay at night after attending and performing at Salmonfest. It was just a short 30 minute drive to Ninilchik, and made it possible for us to feel safe with all our gear. Thank you, Daniel!
This cabin exceeded our expectations. The owners provided everything our family of 4 needed and it was all brand new! They included extras like coffee, hot chocolate, tea, kitchen spices, condiments, and cold spring water in the fridge. It was great to be able to have running water, electricity, a full kitchen, and an indoor bathroom to use after a day at the beach. There is even a washer and dryer available for use. We liked the Alaskan decor. The stairs to the loft are steep (nothing unexpected for an A frame cabin) so if you have an older adult in your party, you might ask the owner to set up a twin bed downstairs. Daniel was accommodating, quick to reply to all of my questions prior to our arrival, and provided his contact information in case we needed anything while we were there. It was a great time and we will definitely return!
The cabin was perfect for our trip. We were dip netting on the Kasilof and the cabin is a short drive to the beach. It was comfy with all the comforts of home. It is very quiet and relaxing. We will definitely keep this cabin in mind for our next trip down to Kasilof.
Daniel is awesome as a host! Great communication! Place is the absolute best if you want solitude. Super close to Kasilof fishing areas. Cabin was super clean. Having a washer/dryer and then having Daniel purchase a small chest freezer to store my fish was great. He is so accommodating and really made it a complete joy to rent from him. I can’t say enough good about him and his cabin. I’m making it a habit each summer when I fish in AK to stay here every summer from here on out! Thank you Daniel! We loved it.
Everything was very clean and accommodating. Daniel was very helpful and quick to respond! Cabin was spacious and had all the necessities. Would definitely recommend staying here if you want a quiet cabin getaway, just make sure you bring bug spray! Thanks hosts! :)
