2. RENTAL PROPERTY SPECIFICS :
- This is a cabin in the woods; that means lots of bugs may be present, especially in summer. You might even see a bear. Please keep in mind this home is a cabin and not a hotel suite in the city. Even if you are very careful, some bugs will find their way into the house. The best way to minimize the number of bugs inside is to keep all doors closed at all times. You must also carefully clean up the kitchen every night and securely package up all food to keep out bugs. DO NOT LEAVE ANY FOOD OR TRASH OUTSIDE; DOING SO WILL ATTRACT WILD ANIMALS
- WIFI/CELL SERVICE:
Wi-Fi is available. It is offered through a satellite dish, not cable. It has a good speed for usual internet activities, like emailing, browsing, social media, and even streaming (might be limited to the amount of devices used at the same time). Please keep in mind, its a satellite internet, not cable high speed internet, we can not guarantee the speed and reliability. Internet and Cell signal can get interrupted by the weather conditions.
Cell phone service can be spotty in the mountains, and we do not guarantee you will get a signal at the cabin. Your experience will depend on your cell phone service provider, as is the case throughout all of the mountains. Verizon and T-mobile gets the strongest signal and usually works pretty well, AT&T has no signal at all. With available Wi-Fi you can all the things are used to doing on your phone including texting and Facetime.

Great Dark Sky Location

The property was what we expected and allowed us to enjoy the Perseid meteor shower in a great location. The house was clean and updated and made us comment several times about how nice the property is. The ride up the road was an adventure, but we made it, and the view was worth the ride. This was a great place to spend a weekend with my favorite person. I recommend this property to anyone interested.
