Have you ever thought about downsizing and living in a Tiny Home? Well now you can experience tiny home living while enjoying our beautiful campground in the NC Mountains. Our property sits along 1600 ft of the North Toe River (stocked with Trout) and is 10 miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway in Western North Carolina. Our Tiny Home Cabin #1 features beautiful views of our open grass fields, fishing pond and views of Buck Hill and Spear Top Mountain! Our Tiny Home Cabin #1 can comfortably sleep up 2 people with a queen memory gel foam bed in the sleeping loft (you must be able to climb a ladder). The cabin has a full kitchen with a refrigerator, gas range, microwave, and coffee maker. The cabin has several windows that look directly out to our fishing pond and allow great mountain breezes (aided by a ceiling fan) as well as panoramic Mountain views. The cabin has a propane heater that keeps the cabin plenty warm during the Fall or Winter nights. The cabin has a big covered porch that looks directly at our pond and Buck Hill Mountain. Enjoy s'mores by your fire pit any time of the year! Or grill out using our communal park style charcoal grills by our pond. You bring your own linens or a sleeping bags, your fishing poles, and your hiking shoes (the campground is 144 acres and we have a hiking trail to the top of Buck Hill Mountain, approx a 60 minute hike for most people) The campground also has a laundry facility, arcade room (recently renovated with billiards, 4 pinball machines, air hockey, and arcade games) and a dedicated fiber service that provides free high speed internet all over the campground! We also added a basketball court and pickleball courts for our guests to enjoy! Snow lovers we are only 12 miles from tubing at Jonas Ridge and 22 miles from Skiing at Sugar Mountain!

The entire tiny home cabin and campground is available for our guests to enjoy! Guests will have access to the following amenities on the campground:

Free Wifi

Game Room (billiards, pinball, arcade games)

2 Bath Houses (with hot showers and clean rest rooms)

North Toe River (great for fishing, tubing, kayaking)

Picnic Table & Fire Ring outside cabin door

Coin Laundry Room

Gathering Room w/TV, library of books and card tables

Basketball Court and in August of 2020, 2 pickleball courts!

Please remember guests need to bring their own pillows, linens/blankets, and towels for the bathroom. We are pet friendly ($50 pet fee per dog) but guests must keep their pets leashed and picked up after. We MUST be notified BEFORE your arrival if you plan to bring pets. We also ask that pets do not get up in the lofts of cabins. Please do NOT move beds or furniture in the cabins. Guests who move furniture and scratch the floors/walls will be billed for damages. All our cabins are non-smoking, guests will be charged a $500 smoke penalty for smoking in the cabins.

Because we just moved our cabins to the VRBO platform this week we realize we have no reviews here yet. But our 11 cabins have HUNDREDS of 5 star reviews on google reviews and airbnb if you'd like to know more about our cabins and level of service we provide our guests. https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/15094583

Weekend Getaway
My daughter bought her mom and I a getaway for the weekend to Buck Hill Campground for the weekend. It was one of the tinier tiny houses because she’s a teenager so that’s her budget but it was so cute! The upper level bed is not for everyone but if you don’t mind the loft you will love it. We definitely think if we come back we will likely do next size up for us as the bed is down but wouldn’t say not to do the smaller. Very clean! The grounds were so nice and serene nestled in a perfect location. Kids playing basketball and tennis. Outdoor movie we enjoyed one night. The pond view was nice and the fountain made for a nice calming sound. All the people there seemed to be very respectful and friendly. There is a country store nearby but some other shopping take a little time to get to but that was the point for us. We enjoyed the nearby Linville Winery and falls and Wiseman’s lookout. I kind of like it out here because you never know what you’re going to come across and that makes it exciting. We met Randy who asked us how are stay was and he asked us how they could make it better and I don’t think there’s much more they could that they haven’t thought of already. They do their best to make an enjoyable stay for their guests and very family friendly. It was nice to see kids playing and not with phones in their faces. We will definitely recommend!

Cabin was exactly as advertised. Nice atmosphere and perfect distance from both larger skiing resorts. Thank you for letting us stay!

First time in Tiny house and it was great.
We had never stayed in a tiny house and this was a great option. The area was among other tiny homes as well as rvs. So we didn’t feel we were in the middle of nowhere. Perfect amenities
