We had a great long weekend at this wonderful property. The absolute cleanest property we ever visited. The owner made sure everything was ready and stayed in touch to check for any concerns. Great location as a base to explore Rhinebeck, Red Hook and Hyde park. Or just sit and relax.
Alysia was immediately responsive which felt great and safe. As soon as I arrived the home was perfect :) coffee was left out for me :) The home became my sanctuary as I was visiting for teacher training . 5 stars!
We really enjoyed our stay. The location is very quiet and only a mile from Omega. We were able to walk to Omega (Note that the return trip is uphill but we enjoyed the exercise. And if you are walking back at night, make sure you have a flashlight. Fortunately most phones have them.) The place was very large and had everything we needed for our stay. It is very airy and looks like the photos. The hosts were wonderful and really helped us out when we had a car accident while visiting Hyde Park.
This was my second stay at this property. Absolutely love it. Beautiful wooded site. And so convenient for Rhinebeck, the Roosevelt historic site and the great restaurants at the Culinary Institute. Plan to return next October!
Beautiful place about a 15 minute drive out of Rhinebeck. Great views, well equipped kitchen and spacious living quarters. Bed is a king and super comfy. The hosts were so kind and accommodating with lots of great suggestions for what to do and where to eat. You’ll love it!
Loved this place! So clean, nice, new and in the beautiful NY country. So comfortable. Easy checkin and our host was great, even giving us some nice ideas for things to do in the area. Definitely would stay again!
This is a nice place near the Omega Institute, tucked away with a nice woodsy walk in the neighborhood. The host cares about the quality of your stay. Nice, simple, clean, comfortable, everything you need. I will look to stay again in the future.
We live an hour and 1/2 away from the property and were attending a retreat at Omega. We had a wonderful retreat and the cottage was a great place to stay after each day of the retreat. Our hosts were wonderful. We would definitly stay again next time we visit Omega or go to Rhinebeck. Highly recommend.
This relaxing and peaceful carriage house is within easy reach of the great little village of Rhinebeck and makes a great base to explore the FDR Library and Museum, the Vanderbilt estate, and much more. Everything is new and filled with great light. In the summer and fall it must be wonderful, since even in mid-February it was a beautiful spot.
My friend and I stayed at Alysia’s place in the woods for a week while attending a workshop at Omega. It was just the quiet beauty we were looking for. We walked to Omega several days. It’s downhill on the way to Omega and a good uphill workout on the return. The house was quiet, comfortable and clean. Our hosts were attentive and helpful! We hope to return again soon!
Walking into the cottage I was immediately struck by the spaciousness, the light (there are windows on every side-one where you can directly see the stunning sunsets), and the golden wooden floors. This is a perfect cottage for a couple, with the mostly open and large floor plan and separate bedroom. The furnishings are upscale and tasteful. The kitchen was very user friendly, which was important to us since we prepare all our meals at home. The deck is private, raised above the ground, and perfect for an afternoon of reading. Finally, Alysia and Russell are very special people and couldn't have been more gracious and helpful. I highly recommend this home.
I arrived at peak fall leaves changing time. The drive in to the house is incredible. Not only did it see the beautiful trees, but a family of deer. The home has everything you will need and a short drive into Rhinebeck Village and to Bard college. This is a great home in a fantastic location. I will be back. Thank you.
