It was a spacious home but the cleanliness could use some work. One of the beds was covered in sand. Additionally, there were no directions such as the WiFi information and where to park. I needed to contact the owner for this info.

There was water damage in the ceilings, holes in walls, stains on the couch. Personal belongings like pills loose in draws. The shower smelt moldy from the steamer. Sheets were not cleaned before we got there. You can tell they were used prior too. We cleaned them before we slept in them so not convenient. Even trash pins were fill, bathroom bins had used feminine products. Great locations but definitely someone’s house a not a true VRBO.

Perfect spot and

I live in a nearby town and was hosting thanksgiving for 30 people. I needed a nice place for my mom, siblings and nieces to stay and this was perfect. Very comfortable rooms, bright, clean and big kitchen/dining/living room. Super close to the boardwalk for day-after thanksgiving excessive. Owner was extremely helpful, arranged to accommodate wary checkin and exceedingly commutative Would def recommend.

Beautiful Place

The house was absolutely beautiful. The location was perfect and the host was excellent. The hosts communication made the entire process very easy and convenient. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a 5 star experience!!

Couldn’t be happier! Lovely Beach Weekend.

The photos don’t do the house enough justice. It is fabulously decorated and the perfect blend between chic and comfortable. Walking distance from beach and taxis are super convenient to get to the strip with all of the bars. We lost the key by accident and the host was super chill and responsive in getting us a new one. He was a pleasure to deal with. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful property, stellar host!

I stayed here with a group of friends for a last minute trip to the beach. Kyle was an incredible host and super easy to communicate with. He greeted us at the property to give us the keys and provided several local recommendations for restaurants near by. Pictures do not give the house justice - it is so much bigger and more beyond up than it appears online. Perfect location and kyle is so accommodating with any questions that We had through our stay. I would both highly recommend this gorgeous listing and gracious host.

Perfect!

It was a wonderful experience and stay! The place is beautiful! Kyle was SO accommodating, nice and helpful. He stays in the back of the property, so he was available if we ever needed him (which we didn’t). I will be staying again when we come back to New York to visit!

Lovely home

The house was gorgeous and comfortable. A spacious interior with two lovely patios allowed us to spend lots of time outside. The host, Kyle, was incredibly friendly and helpful, checking in on us and ensuring that we had everything we needed. He met us when we arrived and gave us a tour, and through out our stay was available to help. The walk to the beach is quite short and lovely. Overall, an excellent Vrbo and great host!

Beach house

Close walk to the beach in a nice frendly neighborhood. The place was gorgious, though the linens a little rough. Kyle was a kind and thourough manager who was availible when we needed him. Biggest issue was that a night had to park a block or two away

Dog hair and rude host

The host cursed me out when I complained about issues I was having at the property. He had dogs on the property and I have asthma. When I reached about it he was silent. Then when I told him I’d reach out to VRBO he berated me with curses and threatened me by saying he’d call the cops if I didn’t leave. I filed a complaint with VRBO and am awaiting a response to the investigation. If you have any people with allergies, do not stay here. When checking in the host made my family feel uncomfortable by continually asking why we need to stay here to “pray.” Asking, “why do we need to stay here to pray?” There is a synagogue nearby that we had plans to be at for Shabbat. However, that is not his business and if he asked once I would understand but it seemed like from the beginning he did not want us there.

Property does not match description

We were required to meet with the homeowner (on his schedule) for possession. We soon realized the home was not up to standards. The home smells of dog. One of our friends has a minor allergy and was deeply impacted. It is quite clear a dog spends much time here. (see #17/18) #10-19 have pictures. 1. Airy decor with natural light. 2. Close to beach. 3. .7 miles to Boardwalk 4. Not listed, but surprised there was no coffee pot nor toaster. 5. No dish soap 6. One dedicated parking spot (After being told there was plenty of parking, we came back to house at 9:00 pm Thursday night and had to park 5 blocks away) 7. Bath towels were worn and akin to cleaning rags. 8. Dryer has no vent to outside so we needed to wait hours for towels to dry upon possession 9. His mother and dog lives below. 10. No window shade in bedroom –not possible to sleep past sunrise 11. Refrigerator/freezer had freezer filled with food and the fridge with bottles of half used food (e.g., half jars of pasta sauce) 12. Partially used bar soaps in bathrooms. 13. Many used shampoos and conditioner bottles in showers 14. Two carbon monoxide detectors removed and missing from wall 15. House trash piled on side of house. Only one garbage can 16. Multiple stains on bed (including one bright red) with no mattress pad. 17. Closets/Kitchen contain personal items (e.g., owners medical info CD, used Orajel, personal mail, dog medicine/toys/biscuits/training pads) 18. Dog urine spots on rug 19. Stained carpet in rooms

Horrible communication!!!! I couldn’t believe I booked my reservation a week prior and I was told upon arrival that I can not be accommodated. Wasted my time and money to not even enter the property. I begged to be heard and spoken to but that got me nothing but forced to cancel my trip. Horrible

STAY AWAY! This host double booked our stay and completely destroyed our weekend. We arrived and there were already guests at the property with emails showing the host asking to go “off VRBO”. He should be removed from the platform.

Terrific experience

I gave 5 stars for the accuracy of the listing; but the truth is the listing did not do the property justice. It looks beautiful in the listing but actually is far more spacious and well appointed in person than is captured on the listing. The owner loves his property, as he should, and it shows in the care he takes with details. First time using VRBO for us and first time in Long Beach. We stayed 4 nights and it was perfect for us and in a perfect location vis a vis the boardwalk, beach, shopping, etc. Highly recommended.
