We loved our stay at this whimsically decorated "ode to the past". Great amenities. Very comfortable beds. Right in the heart of town. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Historic beauty...

Location is perfect close to everything bellefonte has to offer. Overall very nice place to stay just needs little bit of updating. Very large considering it's age just needs a little bit of updating to be perfect.

A Trip Down Memory Lane

As Gen Xers, we loved the 80s retro vibe of this apartment! We spent a lot of time wandering through each room, reminiscing about our childhood and the games we used to play. Of course we spent the better part of the evening playing the Nintendo! The beds in the bigger bedroom had some of the most comfortable mattresses we've ever slept on! The property manager is incredibly responsive and the property is close enough to Penn State without paying exorbitant prices. Overall, a wonderful stay!

Fun for all

The kitchen was very nicely stocked for any coffee or tea drinker. Lots of games that kept our four children entertained for the entire stay. Was perfect for pur family.

Incredible attention to detail

To say we were entertained during our stay would be an understatement. The apartment was packed with 80s memorabilia and decor, creating a nostalgic retro vibe. I highly recommend this gem!

Spacious , comfortable accommodations in downtown Bellefonte

I loved the 3rd floor flat; it was truly a home away from home. It was very clean and quiet with comfy beds; plus convenient access to Bellefonte restaurants and interesting little shops. The apartment was full of games and fun items which would be delightful for families with children and/or teens. I could not think of a better place to occupy kids plus it is a block from a beautiful park.

We enjoyed our stay and my kids loved all the games! I also liked the separate TV area so after kids went to bed we could enjoy some Nintendo games. Lots of cool details.

Sweet 16 Celebration

We stayed here after attending a concert at PSU. This is our second time staying. The owner was extremely attentive. The place was great. It was clean and the location is great. Will be returning in April!

Home away from home

The condo was very spacious and comfortable. Loved the kitchen with its Keurig plus it was nicely stocked with supplies such as olive oil, spices and snacks. I stayed there with my carpenter son who is preparing his home 2.5 miles down the road for sale. It was well worth the expense to have a nice place in which to relax. Thanks, Bob and Jess, for such nice accommodations and service.

Fun night with the kids

Stayed a night in Bellefonte with my mom and the kids (tweens and teen). Good location. We really enjoyed walking to restaurants, church, and to the park. The vibe of the place was fun. The kids especially enjoyed the games and TV room. Coordination and communication all went well. Thanks a lot!

Cute Retro Apartment

Bob's awesome retro apartment was the perfect spot for our quick getaway to Happy Valley. All of us (ages 8 through 70) loved the multitude of games, cool decorations, and extremely comfortable beds. The apartment was well stocked with everything we needed and the responsiveness of the host was fantastic. We really enjoyed the location as it gave us the opportunity to walk just down the street to a cute cafe and beautiful park. We would definitely consider staying here again!

Back to the future…

Cool place to stay as it brought me back to my youth with so many memorabilia around the apartment. Great location to everything you need in Bellefonte, basically it is in the center of town. Apartment was clean and comfortable. Will return next year.

Retro Get Away

We had a very nice stay at this apartment. It is obvious that the hosts have worked to make the home special, especially for those who want to enjoy a blast in the past! It was up two flights of stairs which was hard to maneuver with luggage but once inside, very nice! The owner called to see if we wanted anything in the fridge before we came which was a nice touch.

Very old apartment but neatly renovated. The kids got excited the moment they entered the unit. Nice neighbor. The only thing was that sometimes there was no parking available in the back, but I wouldn’t decrease the evaluation just for that. Recommend the place.

Nice comfortable stay for group of friends

We are a group of friends that travel to the State College area annually for a football game. We chose this location because it’s fairly close to the stadium (about 15 minutes). Also because it is in a small town as opposed to the places we’ve been staying which are more remote. The apartment is in an old building as described but the unit itself has been entirely renovated. There was plenty of room for 6 of us to stay comfortably. It was very clean, the kitchen was fully equipped, though we mainly ate at restaurants. Decorations were quite remarkable - I typically don’t really notice or even care personally, but I really enjoyed seeing all the items, especially all the games and other memorabilia from my youth! I would definitely return in the future!

Perfect Overnighter

We had tickets to a wrestling match at PSU and didn’t want to travel at night (3hour trip). It was a perfect distance and easy ride to PSU. My son invited friends, so it was perfect where they had their own privacy and mine as well. It is very roomy and was very comfortable for the four of us. I loved the decor (brought me back to my childhood) and the communication was excellent. Would highly recommend for those who are looking for a reasonably priced place
