My husband and I really enjoyed staying here. The kitchen was very well stocked, and the beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed the snacks that were provided. The chocolate muffins were amazing. Also, the owner was very quick to respond to messages.

We loved this place from the minute we walked in. It’s decorated beautifully with the best thoughtful touches throughout. Everything was spotless. We kept saying we’d love to know where the owners shop or who helped design it, because it’s just that nice. The location was perfect; a short, easy drive to campus, which made getting around very convenient. Comfortable, clean, stylish, and welcoming — we couldn’t have asked for more. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

I booked the Vintage Vibes cottage abode last minute for my stay at State College and I was absolutely delighted. The cottage is immaculate and pristinely decorated in the most charming style. Every detail, down to the fresh bouquet of yellow mums on the kitchen island, greeted us with warmth and relaxation. My fiancé and I found plenty of space for ourselves, our daughter, and two friends after visiting the college, which was only a ten minute drive away. It was the perfect retreat after a busy day. We had absolutely everything we needed for a respite from the busyness of campus. I would come back again just to spend a little vintage-inspired staycation. But next time I’m bringing my bathing suit to enjoy the inviting outdoor hot tub oasis!

PSU visit

This was our second stay. We came back because our first visit was so good! Hilee has thought of everything and is great to deal with. Things are easy to find in the house and there wasn’t anything we needed that wasn’t there. Also, everything is very clean. We highly recommend.

This was the perfect place to stay when we brought our son for a college visit. Hilee has thought of everything and the cottage is adorable. We enjoyed the hot tub and the outdoor fire table. I appreciated that towels, linens, soaps, etc. were provided. We are looking forward to coming back!

Visit to Penn State

This was a wonderful place for my teenage son, his friend and me to stay while visiting PSU. The house was charming and fully equipped with everything we needed. The host was excellent at communication, even allowing us to check in earlier since the home was already cleaned and ready. We’re looking forward to staying there many more times in the future.

Weekend stay for a wedding

Well decorated. Supplies were abundant. Very convenient. Sheetz, wine and Walmart all Within .5 miles. Everything was clean! Perfect for my family of 3 to stay the weekend in State College for a wedding! The owners are definitely on their A game!

Adorable cottage

Cottage was so cute, Just as pictured online. Backyard was perfect for grilling, yard games. Great location close to PSU campus. Was a quick visit so we did not get to use the hot tub but it looked inviting! Was awesome to have our pups stay with us and visit campus! Our host was so sweet, great communicator Will def stay there again!

Everything about our stay deserved 5 stars! We really appreciated the unexpected fine details of hospitality that made us feel at home. We won’t list them, so they will be a pleasant surprise for the next guest. Additionally, the cleanliness of the cottage gave us peace of mind to enjoy our stay. The king bed was delightfully cozy; we both woke feeling grateful for the peaceful rest. The area is convenient for attending PSU events, with shopping nearby. Finally, the host was responsive via text, pleasant, and caring. About 4" of snow fell the night we arrived. The next morning, the host arranged to have the snow shoveled from the driveway, as well as, pathways to the hot tub and outdoor seating areas….a fine example of example of proactive hospitality. We are thankful for finding this cozy cottage and will stay here again if in the area! Thank you for making our stay lovely!

College Tours

House was very clean and nicely decorated. Location was quiet and very convenient to groceries, Tesla charger, State College and PSU. Owner was responsive and friendly. Home was thoughtfully stocked with a baby gate, baby locks, first aid supplies and a good assortment of cooking utensils. It has a lovely private back yard. I would highly recommend and I would book again.
