Myers' Hillside Hideaway w/ Boat Slip

A complimentary boat slip is included in the rental cost for rentals from Memorial Day through Labor Day, but require a 6-night minimum checking in on a Saturday or Sunday. Boat owner must check in with Antler's Resort and sign release of liability and agreement. Includes in water boat gas dock, trailer storage parking spot, marina, BBQ area, in water and on land store.
FIRST FLOOR: Large living room with vaulted ceilings and round log beams. Two 9' wide sliding glass doors opening up on an impressive deck extending from the living room. The deck is half covered in shade, and half in the sun (full shade in afternoon) and wraps around to a private deck to one of the downstairs bedrooms. There is space for BBQ's, eating, or just lounging around with friends and family. Includes some play toys for kids. Dining area (with 1 high chair) next to the living room with a wood stove. 1.5 bathrooms and a laundry room with large capacity washer, dryer, and stand up freezer. 2 bedrooms: 1 Queen & 1 Full with 1 twin and closet full of toys. Kitchen has ample countertop space, automatic ice maker, and plenty of equipment for all your cooking, grilling and baking needs (includes blender, coffee pot, crock pot, waffle makers, etc).
SECOND FLOOR: 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and an Full sized futon in the loft: 1 King Master with private deck, table and chairs. 1 Queen. 1 queen with crib, toddler bed and changing table. 1 Full sized futon in loft (non-private). It is VERY KID FRIENDLY equipped with crib, toddler bed, changing table, high chairs, and water toys for your use. The deck and top floor are secured with latchable gates as well for added security (just be mindful of older kids leaving latched gates open putting younger children at risk, and educate accordingly). There is covered parking for at least 4 vehicles, and space for boats, and boat trailers. The house is conveniently minutes from two separate boat ramps and is right next to Doney Creek, a serene and calm, no wake cove that is ideal for anchoring or mooring a boat when the lake is up. The house is located on the Sacramento arm of Lake Shasta and is less than 5 minutes from I-5. There are numerous local eateries, bars, cafe's, gas stations, and a full service grocery store. Antler's and Sugarloaf resorts are just down the street. This is the perfect private place for an event such as a vacation, family reunion, or a secluded getaway. We hope you enjoy our home.

Myers Hillside Hideaway worked out so well for the 16 of us who came from Yreka, Reno, Bend, Sacramento and Alameda to enjoy an outstanding Thanksgiving Feast. The weather was outstanding for all of us to enjoy the deck until dark and then head into the roomy livingroom for laughing and sharing. Your kitchen was wonderful with your cookware and counter space for our food supplies!

Had a family gathering and this was perfect. Plenty of room to spread out both inside and on the balcony. There were enough trees around to hide the neighboring houses. We had 5 couples for a friend’s retreat. The house was very well stocked and comfortable. The outside deck was a lot bigger than expected. Kitchen is big enough for several people cooking and preparing. the price is right as well.

It was during winter we stayed here but its a great place to enjoy during winter with an skipark/ice rink within an hour's drive. beautiful house, spacious, safe for kids and well planned and established for families looking for relaxing. We've been coming to Shasta every summer for the last 15 years and this is our 4th year staying at this wonderful spot. Its the best rental we've found in Lakeshore by far. Clean, super spacious, quiet, everything you need in the kitchen, extra fridge, awesome deck, ample/easy parking. Hosts are very responsive.

A Wonderful Family Getaway

My family vacationed at The Myers Hillside Hideway for four days and had a wonderful time. The home is spacious and clean, and its setting in the woods is very peaceful. We enjoyed our meals on the beautiful deck... making it difficult to get up and wash dishes! :-) We docked our boat at the Antlers Resort which was close by, convenient and affordable. Ali and Cory are wonderful owners and I can't express enough how accommodating they are to any travelers needs. My only complaint is ~ I wish we booked it longer!

Amazing Christmas week

This property was the perfect backdrop & homebase for our large family Christmas holiday in the mountains. The pictures didn't do the home justice- it is huge and very comfortable for a group. The kitchen was amazing - set up for a large group with plenty of dishes, cookware & 2 refrigerators! Perfect laundry/mud room space for wet snow gear & supplies. I was sad it was too cold to enjoy the huge patio more, but the Christmas lights outside were wonderful at night. Plenty of parking space.

Home away from home

We have a large group that takes a yearly trip to Shasta. We have stayed at this house 5 of those years and absolutely love it! The wildlife around the house is such a joy to watch with morning coffee, the boat slip is such an added bonus to get with the property if you need one. The house has such a feeling of being home And I have never stated another house that had such a stocked kitchen! The owners have always been wonderful to work with and very accommodating. When any question has arisen. We are looking forward to staying again in the future!

Great cabin for the whole family!

Our family of 17 enjoyed our nine-night stay. First impressions: WOW! It felt very homey and comfortable. Beautiful living room/dining area. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to feed the crew. Everyone was sad to leave. The 4 stars instead of 5 for cleanliness was due to some of the dishes, pots and pans needed to be rewashed before we used them, but we realize that's due to previous renters of your cabin slacking a bit in the dish washing department. We'd love to return in the near future. Thanks for sharing your home.

the cabin was better than expected nothing to complain about the location is so peaceful you really get at East and forget about all the stress from our daily life the kids loved it playing inside and outside it was a beautiful day the snow was not far from we can't wait to come back for summer to try to late communication with owners was amazing everything in the house is labeled directions and tips for getting out of town or sightseeing we didn't have to communicate with the owners not even once of how everything set up in the house. thank you once again and we hope to come back. The best house we've stayed at at Shasta

Our group has been coming to Shasta for years, and this is the nicest property we've stayed at. Usually there are 8-12 of us but this house could have easily accommodated more. It's pretty clear that someone actually lives here, at least part time, which is AWESOME because it has all of the stuff you'd never find at just a rental. Need a lemon zester, an extra fridge, or a giant pot for a shrimp boil? Done. A pile of blankets and firewood in case the power goes out? It's here. Beds are comfy with quality linens and house has nice decor throughout. The space is giant as shown in the photos, so everyone isn't on top of one another all of the time. The owners were amazingly accommodating and responsive.

Great log house near boat launches

We had a great time in this larger log home Near the lake. Home had everything we needed. Large deck with Bbq. Home has AC and kept it comfortable at most times during a hot week. Not super clean, guess there was big group before us that didn’t take good care of the place. Only down side is I had to call the police on the crazy neighbor in white mobile home. He is a psycho that gets sets off with any noise. He kept yelling and threatened to shoot the neighbors dog for barking. Then went postal when the local bar had karaoke night about 1 Mile away. I think he went to jail for a couple nights. We will definitely try booking again next year and hope the crazy guy moves away. Thanks
