The home is in the perfect setting on the Cabot Trail. Cheticamp is a gem of a place. Wonderful people, good food and everything you need at your doorstep. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our sightseeing of this beautiful part of our country...Canada!

This home is in the perfect little town right on the Cabot Trail. Very spacious for our large family. We enjoyed the larger kitchen and dinning room for a lobster dinner purchased from the fishermen right down the street…PERFECTION. Walked every morning to the coffee shop, had amazing dinners, ice cream shop… all walking distance. Wonderful stop of our road trip.

Cape Breton hiking trip

Beautiful spacious house near Cape Breton National Park. Great location with restaurants in walking distance. House was spotless and well equipped. Loved it-highly recommend.

family vacation station in Cheticamp

The house works fairly well for a group of 9 of varied ages. Round table in dining room worked well for meals. Mornings on the front porch were a delight. Nice large kitchen handled "many cooks". Would stay here again.

Far enough from road that no traffic noise. Clean, neat and well stocked kitchen. Nice front porch with ocean view. Easy access with parking in the rear of the house. Plenty of space on home. Grocery close. This house is perfect for a short or long stay!

The house was perfect for a party of 6 adults! The 6 bedrooms had comfortable mattresses. Every room was clean. The kitchen was spacious and had all we need for cooking. There was dining room and living room and a bedroom on the first floor. We really liked the front porch facing the ocean in the evenings. There were many restaurants cafes in walking distance. A grocery store nearby. The Cabot Trail was close by and the trails were open for hiking. Meat Cove was spectacular. The host was in touch with us throughout our stay. Check-in and Check-out was easy! Would stay there again!

Amazing!

We were so thoroughly impressed with the accomodations- it was absolutely beautiful! The location was also wonderful with lots to do! Also, they didn't miss a thing- lots of nice towels, laundry facilities, coffee, tea, sugar, and even a flashlight incase of power outages! We were so thrilled with this place and we are definitely considering going back next year but this time staying alot longer! Thank-you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful house! Note: we absolutely loved the fact that some of the historical features were retained! Absolutely beautiful 😍

Excellent location and well equipped house. Plenty of room for our group of 10. Only issue was that we were told that all bedrooms had mini splits and ceiling fans but one bedroom upstairs did not have a ceiling fan or a mini split and it was very hot in this room for sleeping. The bedroom downstairs didn't have a mini split but the ceiling fan worked fine. Overall loved the house and would highly recommend it to large groups.

The property had all the amenities that you could ever want except for ice. We didn’t know the bedroom set up when we booked and were a little disappointed to find five bedrooms on the second floor sharing a bathroom. Amazingly, that didn’t seem to be a problem at all for the 11 of us. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the house. They even brought in three extra folding chairs, since the table only sat eight.We really appreciated it! We would definitely rent it again.
