Apartment "Leon":
On the ground floor (half-basement) is "Leon". Also has its own entrance and about 72 m² living space.

"Leon" has a large living room / lounge with integrated kitchenette and a double sofa bed (160x200 cm).
In the extended niche of the living room is a bed (120x200 cm) with matching wardrobe. One bedroom with double bed (200x200 cm) and a toilet / bath with a very large shower cubicle. -Concerning. Equipment see picture material under galleries.-

"Leon" can be occupied by up to 6 people plus a baby / toddler (up to 3 years).

We expressly point out that "Leon" has a ceiling height of 2.15 meters and that in the living room / lounge 2 and bedroom 1 concrete pillars are, so the ceiling height under the concrete pillars is 1.85 meters. The concrete pillars are equipped with rubberized edges.
By this express reference, we assume no liability whatsoever for any negligent or intentional bumps or other injuries caused by it!

Also "Leon" has been fully renovated in March 2019 and completely with absolutely new furniture and new appliances, cutlery, crockery, etc. has been equipped.

We have just returned from a week stay Aug 2025, a family of two adults a 7year old and a 1 year old. Villa apartment is great, very well equipped with everything you need. Cot and highchair provided for the baby with the option of a pram. Lovely welcome fruit bowl, wine, beers and chocolate treats for the children on arrival. Lovely hot powerful shower. Apartment is spacious with lots of little personal touches such as a beach bag you can borrow, board games etc Pool is lovely, well maintained and a great temperature. The children loved it and there are some pool toys that are available to use. Beach, supermarket and a lovely restaurant are about a 15:20min walk away, but you do need a car to see the island. Only a 15min drive to Argostoli for lots of shopping, restaurants, nightlife. Island is very family friendly. The hosts Niki and Gabi live on the top floor of the villa meaning there on hand if any issues, - we had none. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be returning

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura per una settimana ad agosto.Eravamo una famiglia di 4 persone (2 adulti e 2 bambini) e ci siamo trovati accolto.La casa metteva a disposizione tutti i confort necessari.Fin dal nostro arrivo ci siamo sentiti accolti, con Niko che è venuto a prenderci in aereoporto!Al nostro arrivo a casa abbiamo trovato frutta fresca, acqua e succhi in omaggio.I plus è stato l’utilizzo della piscina, comune all’ appartamento al piano superiore ma praticamente al nostro servizio!La posizione è abbastanza baricentrica per girare l’isola.. ovviamente necessario il noleggio di un auto.Consiglio il soggiorno qui!

Cephalonie est une île magnifique et Gabi et Niko sont des hôtes vraiment fantastiques! Ils sont très accueillants, attentionnés et ils ont toujours à cœur que vous passiez de bonnes vacances. Ils sont très réactifs et très hospitaliers. Niko est venu nous chercher à l’aéroport et nous a rendu beaucoup d’autres services avec une grande gentillesse. La location est bien équipée, elle très propre et de nombreuses attentions nous attendaient à notre arrivée sur la table et dans le frigo: ! Gabi prépare les lits et fait le ménage avec beaucoup de soin, les serviettes fournies sont nombreuses et impeccables, nous avons eu aussi des peignoirs moelleux et même des chaussons ainsi que tous les produits nécessaires pour débuter notre séjour dans de très bonnes conditions. Tous les lits sont très confortables. La salle de bains est grande avec une douche moderne et puissante. La petite cuisine est bien conçue, elle est pratique. La piscine est juste parfaite: grande et très bien entretenue. Nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances dans la Villa Ela. Un GRAND merci à Gabi et à Niko! Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir!

Lovely stay

Villa Ela is a lovely basement appartment at the edge of the village of Kalligarta on a hill overlooking the sea. The Villa has three appartments with the owners Niko and Gabrielle occupying the top floor appartment. The appartment is well furnished and has a covered outside terrace by the pool which is reseved for guests in the basement apartment. Niko and Gabrielle were excellent hosts having been in touch since the booking was made. Niko met us at the airport which was much appreciated as the appartment would have been hard to find on our own. He was also kind enough to give us a driving tour of the local area a couple of hours after we arrived showing us where to find the supermarkets, restaurants and the local beaches. This was a lovely touch that I haven't seen from other rental properties. Kalligarta is a fine base for exploring Cephalonia as it is five mintues drive from the main road that provides the main access to the rest of the island. Most places on Cephalonia are reachable within an hour - the distances are not large, but getting anywhere on Cephalonia does take time as the roads are narrow and pretty windy. We really enjoyed our stay liking both the island and Villa Ela.
