4 day stay for Baseball Hall of Fame visit. Check in was very easy, accomodations were great. Host was very responsive via text over the weekend. Short drive to Cooperstown, enjoyed paddle boards provided at the home.

Beautiful lake views

We had a wonderful time at this cozy lake house with stunning views while our son played baseball in Cooperstown. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful. We ate at several recommended restaurants and really enjoyed all of them. We fished several times and used the stand up paddle boards too.

Baseball/family

We came to stay for a baseball tournament but wanted something more for the older siblings. This lake house was perfect! It was beautiful, clean, offered many activities for the water, and the owner was so supportive during our stay. I would stay here again in a heart beat! The perfect getaway from the intensity of baseball tournaments! Loved it!

Amazing Stay!!!

Simply put, this is a stunning property, owned by a stellar host. The location was beautiful, quiet, very clean, and central to both Cooperstown and Richfield Springs. We would highly recommend anyone looking for a cozy lakeside getaway to rent this location.

Wonderful stay on Lake Canadarago

Beautiful location on the lake away from it all. Easy commute to Cooperstown and to Dreams Park. Host was wonderful with great communication. House had everything we needed. Would stay there again!

Great property and lake

Having that view for coffee every morning and dinner at night was exactly what we were looking for. Property manager also supplied quite a few of the basic supplies in case you forgot anything. Definitely looking to stay here again

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was just what we needed. Plenty of space and location was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the paddle boards and the views were just so peaceful! The owner was very responsive and helpful. The kids are already asking to go back!

getaway with baseball

we stayed here while our son was playing in the dreamparks baseball tournament. it was nice to be on the lake. saturday night we could here the live entertainment from across the lake coming from the lake house restaurant which was a nice treat

Thanks Kim for a GREAT stay. The views of the lake are outstanding as well as the updating of the house. Pictures dont do justice. Great communication with owner as well! We hope to come back and stay at this house when my younger boy plays at Dreams Park in 3 years!!

Amazing Lake front home

Our Family had an amazing time staying at your home on the lake. We spent our days fishing , paddle boarding , tubing and enjoying every minute of the beautiful lake and view. The home was decorated lovely and had all the amenities you would need , including a welcome basket filled with locally made snacks. We will definitely stay again and recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

The best place to relax and find peace!

We had the pleasure of staying at Grey Skye while visiting family in New York. It was a beautiful retreat designed for peace and relaxation. The view overlooking the lake was stunning and we enjoyed getting out on the water with paddle boards. Coffee on the deck while birdwatching was the best way to start the day as was enjoying the cool breeze by the lake in the evening. The home had everything we could have needed and was in close proximity to stores and activities. We would love to come back in the future!

Lake Canadarago Views

We had a fabulous stay at Kim’s place! The lake views were amazing! The lake itself was so much fun with all that she has for you…paddle boards, kayak, floats and such easy access. The house was nicely done and had many of the amenities needed for a vacation away from home. It was I quiet at night, we loved watching the stars! Cooperstown is a short 20mins away and such a cute town. We will definitely be back!

Peaceful Getaway

This was our second stay here and once again it did not disappoint! Kim's place is perfect! The view of the lake is just beautiful! We all enjoyed sunbathing on the deck and then enjoying a quite paddle board ride on the lake. Here home is so cute! Nicely decorated and the perfect size for my family of 4. My MIL came with her sister and there was still plenty of room. We explored the area and just were in awe of it's beauty! Again, just a great place for a relaxing vacation.

Lake Effect

The house and lake are like one thing. Between the views you see from inside the house to the multiple seating and gathering spaces outside. It was delightful. The house itself has a simple and easy layout. There are nice decorative touches that made us feel like we could be staying at a friends house. And very very clean. Really. Quiet friendly neighbors. We all felt like we had lucked out in finding this rental.

The Lake house has a *wow* factor

The entire lake house has been recently updated- and it was even more charming than I expected. A big bonus is the location- it’s located a short distance back from busy route 28- which can be really difficult to park on. Our family staying at the other end of the lake preferred to hang out at our rental because of how quiet and easily accessible it was compared to their place. We will definitely be back- we are so glad we booked this gem!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Grey Skye! The home was very clean, and beautifully decorated. The property was well stocked with all that we needed for our basic needs and entertainment. Kim ,the owner, was incredibly easy to communicate with. It was a quick 5 minute drive to the grocery store, and a 20 minute drive to downtown Cooperstown. The views of Lake Canadarago are gorgeous, and the access to the lake was fantastic. We had a great time enjoying the fishing and paddle boards. Thank you for a memorable stay!

Purchased property after husband passed away in 2020. The renovations has served as a wonderful form of grief therapy for myself and my two daughters.

Why they chose this property

For over 25 years, my late husband and I would come up to the lake to visit with family who owns a vacation home on the lake. It is so peaceful on the lake, not a lot of boat traffic. In the early mornings there is usually a thick mist on the lake - it makes it look like your just a few steps away from heaven.

What makes this property unique

The home is newly renovated with upscale amenities (such as a Lynx grill w/ power burner and rotisserie). We have private off the road parking, and the dock is set up that if you wanted to bring in a small boat you can (boat launch less than 5 minutes away).
