About this property
Renovated lakeside cabin with pool & resort amenities!
Niangua Hills Resort, located on the 5MM of the Big Niangua at the Lake of the Ozarks in Camdenton, offers the ease of booking a vacation rental with the desired amenities of staying at a resort. We are under new ownership, as of March 2022, and have undergone a complete renovation, with more still to come! Guests will be able to relax in this no wake cove, fish in our enclosed fish house and swim the day away from our swimming platform.
You'll welcome being close to great Lake area activities, while having peace and quiet on the resort property!
Family friendly restaurants and swimming pools can be enjoyed at Captain Ron's and the new The Cave Bar & Grill, both just around the corner via boat or vehicle. The fishing here is great since we are located at the confluence of the Big Niangua River and the Little Niangua River. The Lake of the Ozarks is well known as one of the best fishing destinations in America! For guests looking to enjoy nature, you can hike trails and see the castle ruins and one of Missouri's best state parks, Ha Ha Tonka, just a short 20-minute drive away. Whether you love fishing, hiking, water skiing, boating, swimming, live music, shopping, kayaking or reading a book in the shade, you will find it all here, at Niangua Hills Resort.
Iron Town Cabin #13 is named to pay tribute to a long forgotten town now sitting at the bottom of the lake, the town of Iron Town. This duplex style cabin sits right at the water's edge. Enjoy being just a few steps away from the enclosed fish house, the swim dock and the boat slips.
Cabin #13 has been newly renovated and now features a new kitchen with new appliances including a dishwasher, a new bathroom with a beautiful tile shower, new floors, fresh paint, new beds & bedding, new furniture throughout the cabin and the installation of an efficient mini-split air unit.
The master bedroom features a brand-new king-size bed, perfect for getting a great night's sleep. The second bedroom has two queen beds and the third bedroom has a bunk bed. This cabin sleeps 8 people comfortably.
This cabin is one of our most popular cabins, as it sits directly at the water's edge. Guests can walk out the front door and fish just steps away. Here, you're closest to the water, the enclosed fish house and the community swim dock.
Additional resort amenities include a swimming pool, newly upgraded playground, an enclosed fish house, a large community swim dock, a community pavilion (free for our guests' use), lots of green, outdoor space, and amazing sunsets. Amenities provided at additional costs include daily kayak/paddle board rentals, laundry room access and use of the boat ramp and covered boat slip. Notify your host upon booking with request to reserve additional amenities.
Wi-Fi is currently not available, although will be installed as soon as it becomes available. Guests are encouraged to use this time to truly unwind.

About the host
Hosted by Amanda Bax
Robby & Amanda, husband and wife, purchased this resort in March of 2022, saving it from imminent demolition. Immediately, renovations began, and our sights were set on offering visitors to the Lake of the Ozarks with the most amazing resort in the area.
We have enjoyed summers at the lake with our children for years and cherish our many memories made. We welcome our guests with open arms and a desire to provide a place for other families to create lifelong memories as well.

Why they chose this property
This resort was an original resort to the Lake of the Ozarks, with all the cabins dating back to the mid-1940s. Originally Singing Hills Resort, then later being renamed Irish Hills Resort, we had a vision for what we wanted to offer our guests, but we also cherish history and architecture. The previous owners had plans to tear down all the cabins and build their home. We were able to secure the property and renovate, keeping Lake area history alive! We desired having somewhat of a fresh start and renamed the resort, Niangua Hills Resort. We are located on the Niangua arm of the lake and chose to keep "hills resort" and the remainder of the name so that we can stay linked to the deep history of the property.
What makes this property unique
No other resort on the "quiet" side of the lake, the Camdenton area, offers seclusion like Niangua Hills Resort does. We are not on the main channel but tucked back in a quiet and calm, no wake cove. It's great for fishing, safe for swimming and peaceful for everyone. Our cabins all offer guests with plenty of outdoor space so there's not a feeling of being crowded.
