The house was roomy with enough bathrooms for everyone. The living room, dining, and kitchen were open allowing for all the family. It is a short walk to the beach.
It is a lovely house that is spacious and clean. All of the amenities are nice, and the grill was new. I love the outside shower rinse-off option and the pool toys.
Great property for families, lots of bedroom options and bathrooms. Property was very clean. Some minor maintenance issues which are expected at any vacation rental this late in season. Due to lots of rain we has asked for the pool to be cleaned and checked and it was done, pool man was very nice as well. Short walk to beach, its a wooded walk though so wear shoes!
We actually stayed at a different property as this one was not available due to owner needing time there. Benji gave me notice a few weeks ahead of time and moved us to an excellent property that was available.
Beautifully kept, looks freshly re-done. Lots of room for getting together but also for getting away from the hub-bub when it got overwhelming. The ideal property for our family week at the beach. The pool was a major attraction. Strong, reliable wi-fi allowed one our grand daughters to take a calculus final online. Easy beach access.
This house if very nice and the floor plan & bedroom layout is great for a family with children. Noise from the living room doesn't doesn't filter to the bedrooms and vise versa. Accommodations are very nice and a short 4 minute walk to the beach. Keep in mind that on St. Simons there is an extreme tide change and at high tide there is no beach to sit on so check the tide chart.

This is a great house location, but it really needs some TLC. The 5 bedrooms were spacious and clean, perfect for a family. However, the lock didn’t work, the kitchen stools were so flimsy that even the grandchildren didn’t use them. Lightbulbs needed changing, the pool needed to be vacuumed, and when we arrived late afternoon, the upstairs AC was not working. The outdoor outlet does not work (which we needed for an EV).The property manager was quickly responsive to repair the AC and lock. Five full baths were great to have but only 2 hairdryers provided.Overall, it’s a nice place.
My friend and I took our spring breakers for a week and we couldn't have asked for a better property. This home is centrally located on East Beach and a short walk to the beach (literally beach front). There was plenty of room for teenagers, adults, and younger kiddos. The pool was a hit and super secluded from the cool breezes of spring break. We will be back!!! Parking was fabulous too- it was certainly our favorite spring break property, yet!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at St. Simons Island. Family came together for a memorable vacation. The home had plenty of room to accommodate a large good. The pool was perfect for the variety of ages to relax and swim.
We did ask for the pool to be services after a heavy rain and although it took some effort to reach the office on the weekend, the pool company did arrive and we were pleased with the effort.
It was a lovely place to spend the week!

The location great. Walk to beach not too far but trails not taken care of ,some grass knee high. Use 6 th street but still rough going to haul beach gear.
House is nice but shows as a rental. Furniture all very soft so me with back issues had pain the complete stay. Beds were good though.
No ice maker they are using ice trays. Broken toilet seat many lights out . Our host was great and got right on some things. Pool was nasty they say from storms and got someone out the next morn but they didn’t do a very good job. It was cleaner when we left because out feet cleaned the green the pool cleaners left behind.
This is a beautiful home and with a little tlc could be great.
This was our first trip to St Simone, and we could not be more thrilled with our house and the island. We are already planning a second trip next year and would love to stay in this house again. We had a retirement celebration the first full night of our stay and a birthday party for our mom on July 4th. We ate in most nights, and we had most everything we needed for cooking even a large pot for a crab broil. The house is beautifully furnished. The dining room chairs and living room furniture was white so I recommend bringing a cover because I would hate that beautiful furniture to get stained. The washer/dryer was the best I ever had in a rental. My bed was very comfortable, and I asked my family, and they said they slept great also. TV's in each room helped us wind down at the end of the day. Thick and soft towels to dry on and the owners even left some personal beach towels to use in the laundry room. When we dried clothes and towels, the house did not get hot and there was a vent in the laundry room. When we went grocery shopping, it only took us about 10 minutes to get to Winn Dixie and Harris Teeter. It is very close to the restaurants and tourist shopping (which my mom enjoys so much!) The parking advertises parking for 5 but it would have to be 5 small cars. We had a Ford F250 and a Tahoe that fit nicely in the front of the house, but our two smaller cars parked on the side, and we had to squeeze in and out of the cars after we parked. Definitely recommend!

Obviously staying during a hurricane causes problems but there were other issues
While we were there when Helene hit and with 80mph wind gusts there was a remarkable lack of damage on the island, house was very sturdy even though the winds were terrifying!
The one issue related to the hurricane was there were no flashlights in the house and since the power went out, being in the dark at night was unacceptable, wish there had been some emergency things like that.
Other things lacking were some basics in the kitchen, I guess we assumed there would be at least some salt. Upholstered furniture while pretty was very dirty and smelly. Some of the bed pillows and shams also smelled pretty dirty. The pool looked like it could have used a good power wash, this was before the hurricane, kind of “gunky”. Also, a broken shade up in the twin bed room on the sliding doors, you could not pull it up at all so there was no way to see out the window.
It was very spacious and well decorated, pretty cute neighborhood but I wouldn’t say beach access was easy.

Good afternoon, we had a total of thirteen arrivals scheduled to come in on the same day as your family. Twelve either cancelled and received full refunds or chose other dates. You decided to stick with your plans and come anyway. If I was planning to vacation somewhere I would definitely have been keeping an eye on the weather especially with a Cat 4 heading in the direction of your destination. And the fact that you nor VRBO was contacted was due to the fact that we had NO power for 6 days. We have had no complaints that I know about regarding the furniture or pillows. The pool is an older pool and the paint has faded a little but, the pool was cleaned prior to your arrival and chemicals added if needed. I see you have been issued a full refund. I have sent an email regarding this to VRBO asking them to charge for the night of your stay, the cleaning and also the admin fee. I do not think I should come out of pocket to pay the owner, the cleaners or my staff for your stay. I also received your email regarding your apology for your review and how could you change it. Please do not worry about it. I would rather leave it for others to see. Going forward, in the future please keep an eye on the weather. If you think their might be bad weather then bring what you may need from home. We knew four- five days prior to your arrival that this storm was coming and it was discussed with you
We had a great stay at this property. It's location was ideal and very accessible to restaurants and shopping. Although we had access to the beach we found riding a very short distance to public beach access with parking was much easier to tote beach gear and children.
