The space
Since 1971, Happy Hollow has been the place to make memories! Fill your days with lakeside living while enjoying the company of friends and family. Come carry on the tradition of listening to the resident loons singing, frogs croaking, and crickets chirping. Truly experience nature at its finest while you soak in the majestic mountain and water views and fire up the BBQ for a family cookout. Enjoy a round of corn hole and/or Jenga while the grill sizzles. As the sun sets, gather around the fire-pit and finish off the night stargazing, singing, and enjoying some S’mores!

Location is everything and even in this serene location, you’re just 20 minutes to Gunstock Mountain and Lake Winnipesaukee, 5 miles to the NH Motor Speedway, 5 minutes to Gilmanton Winery, and only 10 minutes to all the shopping you can handle at The Tanger Outlets!

Guest access
The house is easily accessible by car with well-paved roads and a driveway that fits 4-5 vehicles. We know how excited to get here, please be mindful not to speed through the neighborhood on your way in and out. Individual door codes will be provided for private guest entry and instructions will be provided the day of check-in.

***Please be advised that we have EXTERNAL video monitoring in place at the property. There are doorbell cameras that monitors the front and back door entrances and one camera on the deck to monitor the area overlooking the lake. This is for both the safety of guests and the safety of the property. No regular footage of guests is recorded or maintained. NO INTERNAL cameras are present and YOUR PRIVACY is a top priority. An Echo Dot is located in the desk drawer in the living room, but is used for guest entertainment only and does not actively record. If you have any questions about video monitoring, please let us know***

Other things to note:

Trash pick up will happen every Sunday. (There is no need to move the trash cans)

We love families and have some baby and kiddie amenities to make your stay easier. You will find a pack-and-play, high-chair, bassinet, changing table and fun toys for the little ones to enjoy.

We want your stay to be comfortable and stress-free, so we’ve stocked the essentials to help you settle right in.
Our kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and sharing meals together. To make things easier, you’ll also find:
* A fresh sponge & dish detergent
* 2–3 rolls of paper towels (based on length of stay)
* 1 dishwasher pod per day of your stay
* Salt, pepper & olive oil for seasoning
Each bathroom comes ready with:
* 2–3 rolls of toilet paper (depending on length of stay)
* Shampoo, conditioner & body wash (because a good shower makes all the difference!)
If you need to freshen up during your trip, we provide:
* 1 laundry pod per day of your stay
Friendly Tip: We provide a “starter set” of essentials to get you going. If you know you’ll need more during your stay, we recommend picking up extras at a nearby store so you’re fully stocked for your needs.

Happy Hollow is also pet-friendly! We provide pet bed, towels, waste-baggies, shampoo and treats for our furry guests to enjoy. We just ask that the pets stay off the furniture and be crated if they will be left unattended. However, we sometimes know that they can’t resist the comfy furniture, so there are couch covers available for that very reason. Our pet-fee is additional for up to two pets for the duration of the stay. Just make sure the pets are part of your reservation, if not the pet fee will be requested before or after your stay.

Shellcamp Pond is home to many geese, so you many experience them at the property.
