Custom built cottage 12 minutes to Middlebury College surrounded by forest with outdoor deck in garden setting. Private from the road. Grand piano, hardwood floors, wood beam ceilings, oriental carpets and lots of art work. Heat is provided by auto propane heater. There is a fireplace, but it is not functional. No pets please

Such a lovely place to stay. I loved playing the gorgeous piano! David was very kind and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. I was on a work trip so my stay was short but when I come back to the area again, I will stay here

Overall, the place was quite inviting and very clean. In terms of sleeping arrangements, the mattress upstairs was very comfortable. I truly only used this property as sleeping accommodations for my annual weeklong family reunion at Branbury State Park as I am no longer able to camp for health reasons. It was a bit further than I would’ve liked to have driven daily to get to the state park. The drive was about 12-15 minutes. I think it is worth mentioning that the property is extremely close to the owner’s home; within a stone’s throw just for those who might want more privacy.

Attention MIDD parents, if you're struggling to get accommodations relatively nearby campus, this is a great find. Just 15 mins down Route 7, the place is really cool. Clean, well-furnished with old-school touches in a cabiny way. Very pleasant and the owner David makes the experience simple and seamless.
