About this property

Tranquill Cabin on Edge of Town (Pet Friendly)

Located on 4.5 acres. Park your vehicle under covered parking and enter into an open concept home with full kitchen and laundry room.

Relax in the living room in one of four recliners built into two comfy leather sofas. Put your feet up and stream your favorite show on a Roku with Amazon Prime, Hulu, and Netflix as well as many other popular free streaming services, on a large 50 inch flat screen television. Or, enjoy a family game night with one of the many games in the game cabinet.

Each room has a television, four in all, each with a streaming device to allow everyone in your party a sanctuary of their own.

The kitchen is fully stocked everything you need to cook meals and contains a full sized gas stove, microwave and full sized refrigerator with ice maker. All you need to bring are the groceries! A gas grill is located in the front porch to cook out when the weather is nice.

You can also enjoy porch sitting on the lighted front porch or turn off the lights and do some star gazing.

Full kitchen and laundry room for comfortable extended stays. We have high speed internet and Wifi and have also set up a workstation with scanner and printer if your stay is more business than pleasure.

We are located just outside of the city limits and able to enjoy the tranquility and safety of a rural setting while maintaining the ability to be in town in a matter of minutes.

We had a good stay! The washing machine was not in working order, but we did not expect for them to be able to repair during our stay! If the washer was working it would have been a better stay! We packed lightly in hopes of washing our laundry!

Great Place To Stay!

We always spend Christmas in New Mexico and need a place to stay on the way home, and Merrie’s place is perfect, we will be staying here again! The pictures don’t show how spacious the house is, or how homey Merrie has made the space for her guests. The kitchen has everything you need and if cleanliness is important (which it is to my husband and I) then look no further! It was just the two of us and our dog, but if you have kids, there is lots of room! Merrie is super responsive! We highly recommend this property!

Great place to stay for hunting trip

Easy to get to everything in the city. Well kept house. Only thing I would is get a regular coffee maker in addition to the kuerig. That way I can brew a whole pot. I will be back.

New home base away from home

This property was very nice. It was set up and decorated nice. Made it feel homey. Owners were very friendly and helpful. The Brewery/Tap Room so close was a nice benefit.

Cozy cottage

Great place to stay, clean and best of all pet friendly. Would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area. Although I always bring my own toiletries and other things the host has put out extra items for you to use in case you forget to bring your own. That is thoughtful !

Had the most wonderful time! The home and furnishings are beautiful and very comfortable. There was even a doggie door for our little dog and a beautiful fenced in porch and grassy yard. There’s nothing I would ask to improve the host and hostess were fabulous.

Cleanliness is important

It may not be next to Godliness but it is important. When the entryway is filthy you can't help but wonder about your bedsheets. This place could be nice with a deep clean and some fresh paint.

First VRBO, set a high standard for future.

We had a great stay in our first VRBO. Easy to set up, access and location to other family and wedding venue. Clean, smelled wonderful, comfortable for us and great grandma. We had all of the amenities of being at home. So many neat furnishings and decorations to admire. If they’ll have us, we’ll definitely book again in the future.

Close to town

It was a relaxing, comfortable place to stay. It was very close to town. Thanks for the coffee station and treats. We did not end up bringing our dog, but it was nice to know that we could have, if we had wanted to. (Our grandchildren stayed with us instead, and the bunk beds were great!)

Such a cute place family of six and 2 dogs was in our group we had a peaceful short stay. Mrs Merrie was very responsive and informative. The artwork was unique and did I mention the smell of cleanliness was wonderful. Had everything you need from coffee to spices to toiletries. Thanks for a great stay!
