We stayed here for a girls weekend and it was perfect. The outdoor area is great for coffee in the morning and the large living room made our indoor hangs even cozier. Loved the proximity to many wineries and trails. The host was VERY communicative and helpful and the check in/out was easy. Highly recommend!

Thank you so much for staying with us, Carly! We are so happy to hear you and your friends had a lovely weekend! Come back anytime.
We had overflow family stay here over Thanksgiving weekend because it was close to our home in Bluemont. They were well pleased with their accommodation and were appreciative of the welcoming touches (wine & chocolate). Enjoyed their stay!
We had a wonderful stay at the house. The whole experience delivered exactly what we needed - close proximity to wineries, easy to booking and communication with owners, cute and cozy inside, and a bottle of wine in the kitchen upon arrival! Pictures of the place were wonderfully accurate and loved being surrounded by nature. Perfect getaway for our first time in Bluemont. Easy drive from DC. Would definitely stay here again!
We were attending a wedding in the area and stayed at this property for the weekend. Really comfortable house, gave us a good opportunity to relax and enjoy all the green space around. Would look for more opportunities to rebook

Spent the weekend in Bluemont for a family members birthday, and were so pleased with our choice! The house had everything we needed and plenty of comfortable space. I really enjoyed all of the historical items throughout the house.
Check in and out instructions were very clear and simple.
Highly recommend!

We are so happy to hear you had such a pleasant stay, Ashley! The historical items have been a lot of fun to curate from all the local antique stores. Thank you for staying with us and we’d love to host you again in the future if you’re ever back in town!
Cassie was a great host and has a wonderful property. She left us wine from a local winery and chocolates and the house was beautifully decorated. The GPS took us to the neighbors house, who also seemed lovely; just look for the house number marked at the appropriate driveway!

We rented for 3 nights with friends and did lots of wine touring in the area. The house was perfect for 8 people (4 couples). Nice to be able to cook food, enjoy the fire pit and just relax. Internet was slow but worked with a hot spot connection. Saw deer on the property the morning we left. Highly recommend!

We had such a great time at Cassie & Cory's mountain retreat house. The space and the property are beautiful. Even more beautiful than the photos online. They provide you with everything you would possibly need for your stay. Great location with so much surrounding nature. We love all of the trees, the sounds of the birds. So peaceful and the fire pit! Great fun!
So much to do close by..wineries, antique shops, restaurants, quaint towns and outdoor activities like hiking, etc.
We highly recommend and we can't wait to go back!

We had a great long weekend stay here. The setting is beautiful and honestly made me wish we didn't have so many plans to spend time out and about. Everything was very clean and in order, the decor was beautiful and welcoming. Communication was fantastic. There were lots of nice little touches like a bottle of wine, the fun selection of games and the guest book. The internet even held up for watching Monday Night Football. We had a wonderful visit.

Thank you so much for the thoughtful review, Deb! We are so glad you and your group enjoyed our home and we'd love to host you again in the future!
My family and I stayed here to spend a weekend celebrating my mother's 70th birthday. The property was beautiful and very clean, which I really appreciated! (I hate when rugs are musty and floors are not clean at rentals.) The towels are so soft and fresh! Our family enjoyed nights around the large fire pit and short excursions nearby - Bluemont Vineyard, Dirt Farm Brewing Co., The Buttery at the Locke Store (for dinner), and Great Country Farms. Our two kids (5 and 7) found lots of places to play hide & seek and the box of games/blocks kept them entertained - thank you!!

Thank you for the kind words, Esther! So glad to hear you and your family had a fun weekend celebrating your mom. We really appreciate cleanliness too, so I'm glad you all felt comfortable and happy in our home. Thank you for staying!
Bluemont Frogtown location was very good. Close to the cute town of Berryville and since we had a very young child Dinosaur Land was a hit. We chose this location because it was within 20 minute drive to family in the area.
We had a wonderful stay and thank you for being a great host, Cassie! The house was perfect for our group of 8 (4 adults & 4 kids). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all of the supplies we needed. The firepit was a lot of fun and we also had a great time watching old DVDs! The house is in close proximity to vineyards and if you have kids, I suggest going to the Great Country Farms. I’m looking forward to coming back with my husband for a romantic getaway!
