The property was beautiful and clean - super comfortable beds and pillows - all amenities and great area - definitely recommend - the owners were very easy to deal with - we had no issues and would return .
This was one of the best VRBO experiences I’ve had! Communication with the host was exceptional, and the home itself was gorgeous. It’s clear they have put a lot of thought into make this house a perfect getaway — it is beautifully decorated and has all the comforts of home. We will definitely stay here again!
Michael was very easy to work with. Responded in minutes to any questions I had. He left a delicious bottle of wine in the fridge for us. Location was perfect proximity to all the wineries and breweries we wanted to visit. House was wonderful, even the squeaky floors. Would definitely rent the house again. Thank you for a warm welcome for our quick little get away.
Beautiful historic charm with all the modern amenities
No need to look any further! Beautiful, clean, historic home in a perfect location. Close to wineries, breweries, Shenandoah River, hiking and only 45 minutes from DC. The host was very accommodating and friendly as well. We would highly recommend this home for you and your family.
Loved this cottage. The back garden is amazing with a firepit and mini playground. The house is very comfortable with all the necessary amenities and convenient to local breweries and wineries. Will definitely rent again!
We had a lovely long weekend at Michael’s property. The house was gorgeous, with a well-appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, and lots of wonderful touches like white noise machines in the bedrooms. Location is wonderful, too: close to lots of great wineries and outdoor activities. Michael was a great communicator, too! Would definitely stay here again!
We really enjoyed stepping back into the past with all of the modern amenities. This home is beautifully maintained in the quiet town of Bluemont. Located close enough to restaurants and activities while maintaining the quiet feel of a retreat. We highly recommend.

Thank you, Deborah. We hope you will come back to visit Bluemont again.
We were repeat guests to this lovely farmhouse. The location is perfect with access to the highway close by while feeling nestled in a small village in this beautiful area around Upperville, Virginia. If you enjoy historic homes, with the benefit of luxury bedding and updated bathrooms, this is the place to be. Hope to be back again!
We were in Bluemont for wedding. Perfect spot for a family Fabulous backyard. Near breweries and wineries. Near AT. Great host. Our DC family will come back.
Not only was the house charming, but it was immaculate. The entire group commented about the cleanliness of the house. The host was very responsive to all of our questions. It was the perfect spot for our weekend wedding trip. Lots of restaurants, vineyards, breweries and beautiful scenery. We would definitely stay again.
The owner was easy to contact and provided great information. The house was spacious and located near beautiful wineries. We were visiting our son at SU. It was an easy ride to campus. The house is fully stocked too! We had a fabulous stay.
The house was perfect. So charming -- everything was beautiful and tastefully done. The rooms are very spacious. All of the appliances are great, and everything we needed was right at our fingertips. There were four adults in our party and there was plenty of room to gather together and plenty of room to be on our own when we needed to. Highly recommend.
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful farmhouse in the heart of Bluemont! The home is well decorated, warm and quaint and is outfitted with everything you need for a lovely vacation. Michael stayed in touch and was available to answer any questions we had. He also provided a very helpful guide to great restaurants and activities in the area. We visited many of the restaurants, vineyards and breweries he recommended and had the most wonderful time. We can't wait to come back!
I stayed here with friends for a girls getaway weekend and it was perfect! We enjoyed the front porch and large back yard as well as the fire pit. The house was well stocked and the owners thought of many extra things like white noise machines in the bedrooms because of the creaking floors. The kitchen had a regular coffee pot as well as a Keurig (with K-cups provided). And, in addition to amenities in the bathrooms, they also had many travel size amenities available if you forgot something. Michael was great to work with. He provided lots of information before our arrival and was very responsive during our time there. We all agreed we would definitely stay here again.
We were Michael’s first guests, but he literally thought of everything! The house is beautifully decorated, everything is in great condition, beds were super comfortable and it’s well stocked with paper products, soap, linens, etc. making packing a breeze. There were special touches like coffee and board games. Our kids LOVED the large backyard and swing set and we loved the fire pit and view. We went on 3 amazing hikes each less than a 10 minute drive and Michael gave suggestions on local restaurants and winery/breweries. The internet was excellent if you need to get any work done. We felt so comfortable there and can’t wait to come back sometime!

Cait and her family were the ideal guests. They communicated clearly and often. They left our house in excellent condition. We enjoyed hosting them and will welcome them back to our home any time.
This is a fantastic property right in Virginia's Hunt Country. The description and photos don't do it justice - it is a truly unique home. Exactly what we were looking for in a very early spring weekend getaway - we wanted to stay in an historic country home, which is exactly what this is (but with the modern amenities we've all become accustomed to). Not a long drive from the city, but it feels like another world. Close to several great trails for hiking and / or running (Raven's Rock) and a quick drive to Middleburg or Round Hill for dinner.
Michael is a fantastic host. We knew exactly what to expect, accessing the property was a breeze and he offered many suggestions for how to spend the time- from hiking to eateries to kid stuff. We will absolutely be back!

The property was beautiful with a large back yard and fire pit to enjoy the beautiful evenings. The house was spacious enough for a family or multiple couples. The house was clean upon check-in, comfortable beds, and all the essentials for cooking and laundry. My favorite spot was the sitting room which allowed for a comfortable gathering spot for multiple people. The property is located on a quiet street and within minutes to local wineries. I would book this property again if in the area.Thank you Michael.
We had a lovely visit. The house was beautiful, full of character and historic charm! Perfect location—close to the wineries!

Very nice home. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the patio in the back yard with the great weather. It’s a short walk to the town general store. Buying ice cream and sitting on their front porch was classic yesteryear. Very comfortable and well supplied home. Wish we were there longer.
I stayed here the night before my wedding with my bridesmaids. It was a perfect location and beautiful house. It had all the amenities we needed including a great fire pit. Michael was very responsive and shared a lot of great information about the area.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Michael’s property! The house is beautifully updated while still keeping its charm and is conveniently located near multiple breweries and wineries in the Bluemont area. Would recommend!
