The house is great for my family. And only minutes from Cedar Point was fantastic especially walking through that big of a park and being exhausted at the end of the day and only having to drive 5 minutes back.

This was an amazing place to stay. It was very clean with even plenty of extra supplies. Dawn was gracious with the checkout time when we needed a little extra time due to a sporting event we were in town for. Accessing the house was very easy, and it was in a great location.

This was the perfect house to spend the weekend at. All the amenities we could need for a stay, and the basement with all the games and air hockey was wonderful for the kids! The host was very responsive and helped with questions I had, as we'd never been to the area before. Definitely recommend over a hotel stay for the weekend!

The property was good and well located. We didn’t enjoy the town Sandusky itself. It was ran down and nothing was open. Went to one miniature golf place that was horrible. Won’t visit Sandusky Ohio again.

Hi Kim, i am sorry you feel this way about our town. We are rebuilding after losing many good places to work. You stayed at the beginning of ohio bike week and If you are not a fan of motorcycles it is understandable. Our town is totally taken over by motorcycles for one week every year. They bring a lot of money to the area they are very well behaved. Sandusky has a ton to offer with activities every weekend on the piers starting after Ohio bike week. I think you will change your thoughts if you try it again. We are opening a long bicycle trail along the lake in another month, the islands are fun to visit, water parks and endless tourist activities. Thank you for staying at our house. Dawn

Location & Host: Excellent location for visiting Cedar Point. The host was helpful and responsive, provided plenty of everyday supplies (towels, blankets, toilet paper, cookware), and left helpful brochures for local activities.Space & Capacity: The space is a bit tight for six people (4 adults, 17yo & 11yo) staying a full week.Sleeping Arrangements: The setup described as bunk beds is actually a daybed with a trundle, which makes it difficult for the person on the top bed to get out without stepping on the trundle. This arrangement is fine for young children, but was impractical for our group with adult sized children.Amenities: The upcoming installation of a washer and dryer will be a great addition for future guests.Recommendations:• Add a TV to the second bedroom.• Replace the daybed and trundle with true bunk beds. Or replace living room couch with pullout bed to given more floor space in bedroom 2.• Upgrade the AC window units for better cooling.

Nice, clean home in a great location. Our group went from 5 people staying to 2 due to personal conflicts. We may have been a little tight if all 5 came along, but it worked out perfectly for us! Much better than a hotel stay! There were plenty of directions and welcoming notes, but otherwise no need to contact the owner.

I was born and raised in Sandusky ! My husband and I enjoy renovating homes. We purchased this house from my brother. He owned it for over 20 years. He married his next door neighbor (at 531) and they sold both houses a few years back. The house needed some updating and basic TLC. My nephew rented it for a few years but then I couldn't wait any longer and had to fix it up. The location of the house lead me to believe a short term rental option would allow many folks to enjoy our town on this quiet street looking at the Cedar Point skyline from across the bay.

Why they chose this property

The location is very centralized to Cedar Point Amusement Park and Cedar Point Sports Force Park. This is also 1 mile from the downtown area which is revitalizing ! Anderson St houses several boat houses at the end along with the stunning view of Cedar Point roller coasters.

Game room downstairs adds a place for the kids to be entertained while the adults enjoy the living room upstairs.
