i absolutely loved everything about this property…the gameroom, the closeness to the lake, the cleanliness of the house, the neighborhood, the decorations…it looks so much better in person
A lovely little house! The decor is so nice, everything is clean and it comes with great amenities like a gaming room and anything you need for enjoying the fire pit and grill on the back patio. The area is quiet and just a few houses down from Lake Erie access as well as being centrally located to lots of great activities.
Beautiful house near lake on private road. Close to cedar point. Limited lake access, but nice big rocks to sit and enjoy coffee in the mornings or sunsets in the evening. We would definitely stay again. Comfortable beds and cleaner than most rentals.
Very nice and cozy lake house. Had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable. Really enjoyed the back patio with the gas fireplace. Check in and out was very easy. The personalized message board on the coffee table and guest book were nice touches. Would stay here again.
The home was very warm and cozy but gave a “beach” vibe the way it’s decorated! It’s just was few hundred yards from Lake Erie! The hosts were very nice and answered questions promptly! Would definitely recommend!!
Our daughter graduated from college and she chose to go to Cedar Point to celebrate. This house had everything needed to have a comfortable place to enjoy some quality family time. Our daughters loved walking down to the lake to take in the breathtaking view
House was in a great location, quiet neighborhood on a dead end street that ends at Lake Erie. My only complaint is that I thought the game room with the futon pictured in the listing was part of the house, but it is a separate garage with no a/c or heat. I was planning on letting my oldest sleep in there, but it was way too warm and had no screen on the windows to be able to open. The kids loved hanging out in there though, and we loved the back patio with the propane fire pit.
My kids and I stayed here for a trip to Cedar Point. We loved the house and the property. It was conveniently located in a nice, private neighborhood not far from Cedar Point. There was plenty of room for my teenager and younger son to relax in their own rooms or the living room. There is also a new gaming room that was a pleasant surprise added after we booked! The house is very clean and well kept. Beds are comfortable. The hosts Jennifer and Roger leave nice personal touches like a welcome board and snacks on the table. They are also very friendly and responsive! My son loves to fish and the house is close enough to the Huron Marina to bike there everyday to fish. I would highly recommend this property and the hosts for an enjoyable vacation experience!! We would absolutely stay here again!
Home was perfect size for family. So close to the lake and Cedar Point. Host were super responsive when we could not find iron (someone took it with them) and had everything our family needed and more.
Everything was neat and clean and very comfortable. The house had everything we needed. The hosts even had eclipse glasses for us. The neighborhood was quiet with a short walk to the lake.
The property was very clean and well described! The beds were comfortable and it was perfect for just the night. The hosts did a good job at communicating with us. Very close to Cedar point. Our only bad thing is that the walls seemed very thin so anything that was happening in the bathroom or a bedroom it seemed like the whole house heard.
This is one of the cutest properties we've stayed at yet. The house was extremely clean and check in and check out where a breeze. Would stay again!

About the host
Hosted by Jennifer Blevins
My husband and I are longtime Huron residents. We're both teachers in local school systems and love to travel. After staying in many vacation homes ourselves, we decided to embark on becoming hosts. We are parents to three wonderful children. Our oldest daughter is a combat medic in the army and our other two children are in college. We have a son who is studying to become a mechanical engineer and our youngest girl is following in her parents footsteps and working on becoming a teacher. When we're not hosting, we love to get out on the lake in our small boat or travel to new places. We absolutely love sharing our wonderful area with others and we hope you come to love Huron and the surrounding areas the way we do.
Why they chose this property
We chose this house because of its proximity to the lake. If you choose to book, you'll be staying on a quiet street in a neighborhood. Most of the homes on the street are occupied by permanent residents so this is not a place for loud parties. We love the back patio. It's a wonderful place to socialize and enjoy time together. If you want a peaceful, quaint, clean place to stay while visiting Huron in the "Shores & Islands" area, then our place is just for you. We'd love to help you relax and enjoy the area. Our neighborhood is known as "Grand Forest" and each street ends at the shore of Lake Erie.
