Watch the sunrise from the porch of this newly decorated, oceanfront, ground-level unit! Enjoy the gazebo situated on the sand as you feel the breeze and watch the dancing waves, just steps from your private porch.
Enjoy the sound of the ocean on your oveanfront deck with a private boardwalk to the beach. There is plenty of seating on the deck as well as a one of a kind, shaded park style gazebo and grilling area for your fresh catch.

Single family beach house divided into four separate units. Previously Known as ISLAND CLUB 1

Island Escape at Island Club enjoys an open concept living area with beautiful views of the ocean through the large windows.

Old Florida charm remains in the well appointed kitchen with dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, and refrigerator.

The common living area has a new Italian leather, power reclining sectional sofa and a 65” flatscreen smart TV.*** All of the smart TVs are set up with house streaming accounts for Netflix, Disney+, Paramount+, and FUBO. No cable tv. ***

Island Escape sleeps 6.
The master bedroom boasts a queen bed, with a 14” memory foam mattress, as well as an en suite bathroom with shower. Enjoy a 50”smart tv and views of the ocean from the large windows.
The second bedroom is appointed with a 50” smart tv and two bunkbeds, each with a 10” memory foam mattress, sleeping a total of four in the room.
Both bathrooms have been updated with massaging shower heads.

Island Escape is one of four units in the building. This home offers easy accessibility, there are no stairs to climb! Parking is limited to two vehicles and PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED.(Strictly enforced with Ring, $75 per pet per day fine.)

Island Escape is on the east end of the island and approximately a mile from grocery stores, numerous restaurants, bars and grills, gift shops and unique specialty stores. NO SMOKING in UNIT.

Covered ocean front deck offers an additional 300 ft.² of outdoor living space.
Bed linens and bath towels are provided. Beach chairs, and beach towels provided. Starter supply of paper products and toiletries are also provided.

We Love Snowbirds!

Please note, the small closet in the second bedroom has been locked as an owners closet. We have added four large dresser drawers to that bedroom under the bunkbeds. Each bunkbed has two large dresser drawers as trundle underneath. There is also a standard dresser in the bedroom.
The kitchen pantry is locked as a maintenance closet. We have emptied two kitchen cabinets to accommodate space for your food and supplies. Please see the last photo to see the locked closet, and the kitchen cabinets that are now used as the pantry.

We have been to St. George Island several times, but this was our first time to stay in this unit. The family and I were well pleased, the apartment was well stocked, clean, and the furniture was comfortable. The only slight drawback was there was a small hindrance in the view of the ocean when sitting on the back porch. However, it was a great view, standing up and at the gazebo. I felt like this rental was better than it was advertised. “Under promised and over delivered!”

Great getaway!

Location was amazing! The owner carefully considered so many extras that I brought but didn’t need. Super clean and very comfortable. The binder was a wealth of information including restaurant menus, things to do. If you go, don’t miss the State park and the lighthouse museum. And we rode out the outer bands of Hurricane Florence and still had a wonderful visit. Water spouts, tornado warnings! You won’t be disappointed! …

Great location!!! All other units are dog friendly so lots of noise from animals. Need to upgrade bed in main room - sagging. Mold in shower and peeling paint. Host was great, just needs a little extra TLC. Love St George.

It was OK, good location, their was dirty bowls in the cabinet and one had a whole in it. Outdated furniture and the sheets wouldn't stay on the bed, but other than that we had a good time.

Great time away

Rayna was so helpful with our booking and answering questions. Our stay was wonderful. We did have issues with the upstairs neighbor and them moving furniture and walking so loudly they could be heard over the television. We did not stay inside much until it was night time. Other than that we had a great time and we understand that our host has no control over the heavy footedness of others. Rayna thank you for an enjoyable stay.

Was the only negative. We heard every footstep, sliding door, open and close, dogs barking and jumping around, and toilet flush. A couple of carpets would help. Never the less it wasn't enough to ruin our vacation, just annoying.

Would live here if we could!

AMAZING location - steps from the sand. No stairs (great for kids). Perfect home layout, good hot water for showers, AC & fans worked well. The patio was great for meals and for storing beach/fishing gear during our stay. If I had to critique anything it would be the master mattress - my husband and I are just not memory foam mattress people. But that is just a personal preference. Overall we would stay here again and look forward to our next trip!

We Would/Will Return

Location on the island is sufficiently distant from the main thoroughfare of the island's center to give a neighborly, residential feel. Property has quick, direct access to the beach out of the back door, via a sweet little gazebo. Property was clean, welcoming in presentation, and adequately furnished. Bathroom facilities are minimal, but sufficient for this kind of beach getaway. Master bed linens and pillows were a little sub-par. Hostess was kind, informative, and responsive. There was a slight misunderstanding regarding check-out time that probably has to do with hostess/VRBO logistics. We would/will gladly return to this property for another St. George vacation.

Spring Break R & R

My 3 kids and I (single mom) enjoyed our stay during Spring Break 2023. This was our first time to visit St. George Island during Spring Break and we loved the quietness. There were a few days that were chilly and windy but we made the most of our time together. The place was very clean and comfortable for us. The bathrooms are a bit small so I would not try to add any more adults to the group. Rayna was a great communicator and quick to respond. We had a very small hiccup using the door code which was quickly resolved. The 4 flex does have thin walls and floors. Thankfully our neighbors upstairs were very quiet so were tried to be respectful as well.

Perfect ocean front gem!

We had a wonderful time and loved staying in this oceanfront unit on St George. Literally 100 steps or less to the beach. Park right in front of the unit’s door and no steps to negotiate. It has a great back patio and we liked the setup of the rooms. We didn’t cook any meals, but the kitchen was well equipped. Nice TVs and good wifi coverage. Super easy check-in and check-out process. The main air conditioning wasn’t working efficiently, but the host provided portable units and the condo stayed very cool. We didn’t love the mattress in the main bedroom- it seems to be memory foam and sinks in the middle. Probably would be fine if only one person was sleeping in it. Overall, this was a great place to stay and the location can’t be beat! We would stay here again.

Pros: Easy check-in. Clean unit. Beach is very uncrowded with easy access. Nice linens and living room furniture. Nice, large deck with good furniture, but no view of Gulf due sand dune blocking it. Quiet unit - unable to hear neighbors.Cons: Worst bed we've ever slept in. My husband and I slept apart each night, because of the bed, and yes, we tried swapping sides. Neither of us could sleep on the side of the bed facing the bathroom. It pitches you to the middle. I shared this with the owner privately, and they said they would look into it, but also shared that her cleaning crew tested it and said it was fine. Parking is terrible at this 4-unit condo. After you have paid and a week before you arrive, you're told parking is "first come, first served." This is because there is not enough parking spaces. Luckily for this 4-unit condo there is an empty lot across the street, and you can park on the side of the road across the street. All paying guests should have atleast one parking space. When I privately communicated with the owner about the poor parking situation, I was basically told she didn't understand what I didn't understand about the parking rule of "first come, first served." Then, she went on to say there was two parking spaces per unit. None of her communications ever mentioned two parking spaces per unit. All that was ever said after full payment and a week before our stay was that was parking was "first come, first served." Look at the pictures for truth.

I have lived in Florida since grade school and married the boy next-door. We just celebrated our 22nd anniversary and have two beautiful daughters. We also have two amazing rescue dogs! I love all things related to Florida including sunrises and sunsets, fishing, boating, swimming, beaching, sunbathing , coconuts, flamingos, and flip-flops! St. George Island is an amazing place. It’s a little over 20 miles long and half of that is the state park. It’s not glitzy and there are no frills. St. George is an island that has stayed true to its natural charm. Pristine, natural, and undisturbed are all words to describe this unique place. Sea turtles are king of the island and all of the residence are big on nature. You will fall in love with Island Escape as soon as you arrive. You can hear the roar of the ocean and see the waves from the inside as well as on your spacious ocean front deck. The private gazebo is amazing. We have had many weddings here! And many anniversaries to come! Private beach house living without the expensive price tag. You can take amazing long walks on the beach or fish right on the surf. You can either enjoy the peace and solitude or go on an island adventure! Couldn’t get any closer to the sand if you tried! Newly decorated and brought up to date with smart TVs throughout, there is something to enjoy or do for everyone! It’s everything you need on our amazing little island, truly living up to the name Island Escape!
