Host had very good communication and the place was in a beautiful location with great views! Family friendly and lots of room for all 16 of us without feeling on top of each other.

Thank you Katie! We love hearing you had a great time with ample room to be yourself and have fun.
Lake Norman is such a beautiful area, and this cove was the perfect location for our stay, especially since it was close to the family we were visiting. The kayaks provided were a great bonus and a fun way to explore and enjoy the water. The house was very spacious and appeared to have been recently remodeled. The kitchen was fully equipped, and having the Blackstone grill outside made it easy to keep our group well-fed. The downstairs level was another highlight, it felt like a large apartment of its own with a full kitchen and separate living space. The pool and hot tub were also great. There were a few loose tiles around the edge of the pool, which we mentioned to the ownership to address. One thing to be aware of depending on season: we stayed in mid-September, and the very tall trees over the driveway were pelting quite a few acorns. They hit our rental car the entire stay. The beds are very soft, the bottom sheets are not fitted so I woke up on the bare mattress each night. No bath mats or rugs in the bathroom made the floors slippery. A bathroom in every room was a great feature. The kids absolutely adored the bunk room. The neighborhood itself was beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. Harris Teeter was our grocery store of choice only about 11 minutes away and located in a nice shopping plaza, which made grocery runs enjoyable. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and loved having such a spacious home, beautiful surroundings, and easy access to the lake.

Thank you for your detailed review! We are going to lok into some of the notes you mentioned for sure to make sure all of our guests have the same experience such as the bath mats! We can't wait to have you back in the future!
Major plumbing issues. Half bath toilet was clogged every time we used it and had to be plunged. If more than two people took a shower we ran out of hot water immediately. Why would you advertise a house for 16 if they can’t even shower? Owner/Manager treated us like criminals with very intrusive questionnaire and recorded video surveillance.
