About this property

Perfect location with fantastic south facing views of the mountains and golf.

This tastefully decorated end unit condo, situated on the 6th fairway, provides you with everything you need to feel at home and relaxed. Sit back on the patio and enjoy the breathtaking view of the mountains while enjoying your favourite beverage and watching the golfers go by. Updated patio furniture and fire pit.

The kitchen - with a large window overlooking the golf course - is equipped with stainless steel appliances and all the extra amenities you need for your stay.

The master bedroom has a king sized bed and a flat screen tv, the second bedroom has a queen bed. Both rooms with ceiling fans.

The den has a pull-out sofa bed and includes a 37" Smart Samsung TV and a DVR. Also has separate access to the main bathroom directly from the den.

The pool and hot tub are a short 3 minute walk from the condo

Monterey Country Club is very centrally located with many favourite restaurants, shops and grocery stores a short drive away. The Palm Springs airport is just a 25 min drive. The College of the Desert weekend market is just down the road, about a 15 minute walk or a 3 min drive.

We really enjoyed staying at the condo. Lori was a fabulous host. whenever I had a question, she gave an immediate response. The location of Monterey CC in the valley is a big plus, close to everything. Everything worked the way it was supposed to, the BBQ was great and connected to the gas line of the home. The fire pit was easy to operate. The awning on the patio was a nice feature too. It was great to get up every morning and have coffee on the patio as the golfers passed by. Great place to stay.

Beautiful condo & location

We had a wonderful & very peaceful stay & absolutely loved everything about this well maintained and nicely decorated condo. The beds & sofas were so very comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking & entertaining. We can’t think of anything we needed that wasn’t already provided. The view of golf course from the patio, living area & kitchen is beautiful and gated community is very quiet & friendly. We liked that this condo is close to shopping & centrally located to just about everywhere we wanted to go in & around the greater desert community. Everything worked perfectly . No problems. We would definitely recommend this place to friends & would stay here again. Thank you Lori for renting out your place for others… like us.. to enjoy!

Beautiful condo

It doesn't get better than this. Beautifully appointed and so comfortable at the same time, plus the views from the patio are spectacular. We want to come back again but next time stay for at least a month or two. It has everything you could possibly need and Lori was such a pleasure to work with.

Perfect setting

Lori’s home is in a perfect setting. Overlooking the fairway with the mountain vistas in the background was spectacular. The home was well equipped, comfortable with all the amenities of home. Lori was easily accessible and very accommodating. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Lovely property and wonderful host

Lori was SO accommodating in every regard. She communicated with us promptly before and during our stay. The property is beautiful and well kept with a stocked kitchen, decent pots and pans and all the dishes and service items you need. They have ample towels and pool towels. Beds are comfy, even the pull out sofa. They have nice “extras” such as a sink in the garage with gadgets to clean your golf clubs, a golf bag stand, two bikes to cruise around on, etc. The location was great, close to 2 community pools/hottubs, tennis courts and located behind a bunker on the golf course for viewing enjoyment. The backyard faces south, so you can enjoy the patio any time of day.

Wonderful stay in Palm Desert.

Great view of the Palms lining the golf course with the mountains as a back drop. Condo was very comfortable. Our month just flew by. Owners were very responsive when minor problem with hot water heater developed. One of our favorite stays in the desert. Always a sad day when we pull out of the drive way to head home.

Fabulous Two Months

It was a pleasant surprise to rent a property on VRBO that actually was as good as it was advertised. The condo was beautifully furnished, updated, and well maintained. The kitchen was especially well thought out with pretty well everything a cook could want. The morning views of the golf course, the blue skies and the mountains are to die for. Lori and Murray, the owners, were always available by email/phone to answer any questions we had. They were a delight to deal with. The Monterey Golf and Country Club is beautifully maintained by an army of gardeners who seem to be planting flowers and shrubs continually. Lunch at the clubhouse is a fabulous deal and sitting on the patio is heaven (except for the smokers who for some reason are still allowed there). Tuesday night, Fiesta Night, is fun with drinks and nibbles for about $3 each. The condo is central to Palm Desert and the Coachella Valley. Nothing is more than a couple of miles away. We will definitely look at coming back again to Lori's and Murray's place for another long stay next time we go to the desert.

Owning a home in Palm Desert has been a dream of ours for many years and we are thrilled to now be a part of Monterey Country Club. The 24 hr. security staff at the gate are always there with a wave and a smile and provide a welcomed sense of safety. We look forward to many years at our condo and look forward to sharing it with others.

Why they chose this property

We chose this location because we had stayed at a condo in Monterey Country Club previously and thoroughly enjoyed the view and the beautiful surroundings. We wanted a central location in the valley that gave us close proximity to everything the desert has to offer. The location of our condo in Monterey a Country Club is far enough away from the main drag of Monterey that there is no sound of traffic whatsoever.

What makes this property unique

Nothing equals the relaxing experience of lounging on the patio watching golfers go by, with a gorgeous view of palm trees and mountains in the background! We wanted an end unit which provides more daylight & windows as well as privacy. We also wanted to be south facing to give us the best view & sun.
