Our beautiful Garden Villa blends Art, Zen and a little of old Hollywood, next to the Pool and Jacuzzi - 2 Bedroom / 2 Bath. One story. No smoking. No pets.

*** City of Palm Desert Permit # 44945 *** 7 days minimum stay ***

*** 4 guests Max. No parties. No music. No Cell phone calls around the Pool or Patios. This is a quiet neighborhood. Garage Door must remain closed per CC&Rs.

*** Our Rental Agreement will be emailed to you directly for signature, scan and return: required to complete your booking

*** January / February / March: minimum 28 days per month

Decor and Furniture from the 30's, 40's and 50's. The Zen Pool Villa Condominium features an original art collection from the Owner's travels around the world (Bali, Hawaii, Mexico, France, and more). Most of the furniture is California Vintage, except for beds and mattresses, which were purchased new.

Two large bedroom suites are smartly located at opposite ends of the living space, for privacy: each one offers a large King size bed.

A 65" Smart screen TV in bedroom 1. A 75” Smart TV in the living room. A 70” smart TV in bedroom 2.

The kitchen and bathrooms still have their original retro look.

One car garage: vehicle clearance of 7 ft in height and 8 ft 10" in width. No street parking allowed from 9pm to 8am.

The beautiful Ironwood Country Club, where the Zen Pool Villa is located, behind gates, with 24/7 security guards, offers a quiet and secluded upscale world of its own.

An incredible setting against the backdrop of the mountains, with amazing, manicured landscaping, and less than 5 mns up the hill from El Paseo.

No parties. Guests need to be registered with the Owner & Front gate: they are issued a pass for the duration of their visit. Our beautiful Community and the City of Palm Desert are strict about quiet in this area - neighbors live there full time. Thank you for your understanding :)

Nearby: beautiful and famous El Paseo; The Living Desert; Whole Foods, Trader Joe's Bristol Farms, Sprouts, etc. Restaurants, Shopping, Boutiques and Malls. Return the Garage remote and the Front Door Key to the white Ceramic Tray on the Dining Room Dresser.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No Music. No Loud Noise. No Cell Phone calls around the Pool or outside Patios. Please be considerate of neighbors who live there full time :)
No parties. The 24/7 security guards at the gate will only let registered guests in.
Our rental agreement must be signed by you and returned to us to complete your booking. The City of Palm Desert prohibits more than 4 guests total.

A very sweet and comfortable home to enjoy you have a super relaxing getaway!

The property was unique and quite beautiful as the artist owner has placed furniture and accessories and artwork, including paintings and photographs and prints that are lovely and easy to live with. In fact, this was our very favorite VRBO we have ever stayed at. And we look forward to coming back again and again.

Great place near Palm Desert

The area is beautiful, the condo was great. Pool and Jacuzzi steps from patio. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bedrooms were at opposite ends of condo for privacy. Michelle was helpful and responsive to questions. Stayed for a month- lots to do nearby.

Great desert getaway

Our first, but hopefully not last trip to Palm Springs. The condo was good location for us. The gated community grounds are beautifully impeccably. Our busy days only allowed for a quick nighttime did in the pool.

Tried the pink grape fruit even though not ripe they were great. Did not use the pool or hot tub but they look great. We love the security and the location. Everything went great.

Home Away from Home

This was our second stay at this property. We chose it again because of its location, practical imenities and value for the cost. A pool right off your patio? Citrus trees ripe for the picking? Comfortable beds and accommodations, this property just says "welcome home." We will definitely book again when we return to Palm Desert.

Enjoyed this villa. A bit dated furniture but very clean, all you need and steps from the pool area. 2 kings we’re comfortable and supplied with many kitchen items. Owner great about responding. Nice tvs. Love Ironwood as beautifully landscaped.

Fantastic property

Michelle was very accommodating right from the start. I was surprised at how clean the property was upon arrival. It has everything you need and the private patio with close pool access was perfect. The condo is close by all the restaurants and shops on el Paseo but in a beautiful very private neighborhood. We will be staying again. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!

Perfect getaway

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We wanted a relaxing easy trip to Palm Desert to get away from our hectic schedules. This was a perfect spot for us. The condo was lovely, well equipped, quiet and close to many restaurants. The pool was just a few steps from our patio and we loved the landscaping of the entire Ironwood Country Club. The owner Michelle was very attentive to our needs and was very quick responding to all our questions. I'd highly recommend this property !

Very Nice

This is a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit very near the spa and pool, which is very convenient. Beautiful scenery and landscaping. Michelle was very communicative and helpful. The unit does not get a lot of direct sunlight, which keeps it cool. Big TV's in all rooms makes it easy to relax. Ironwood is a beautiful community, fun to walk around. The location is terrific, near lots of shopping, restaurants and golf.

Relaxing and beautiful stay for young family

Michelle was so helpful and responsive from the first moment we contacted her. When we asked for an earlier check-in so our toddler could nap, she immediately tried to accommodate us and was able to so we could start off our trip right. Thank you, Michelle! Her place is lovely, spacious, and in a beautiful gated community. Everything was so clean, comfy and cozy. The pool is also only a few feet from her unit and we were the only ones using it so it felt like our own. Overall, we had a great experience due to the lovely surroundings and Michelle’s attention to detail. We are very grateful to have such a positive first experience with VBRO.

A good choice.

My wife and I stayed for 2 weeks in November and found the place clean and comfortable. It should appeal to a senior couple looking for a quiet, warm and sunny getaway. Having 2 bedrooms and bathrooms is a bonus. There is plenty of room for two people, the kitchen has most of the essentials and a huge modern fridge. The washer and dryer was great. And the gated community has lots of green areas and pools- one just steps from the back patio. Several choices for grocery stores are about 10 minutes away. A car is needed. The community is really nice for daily walks but there are no services within walking distance. The garage and driveway are pretty tight, so ask about that if you have a larger car. You should also be aware of the noise and partying restrictions. There are lots of walking/hiking trails; also restaurants and art stores/galleries in the area. It's a bit on the expensive side in regard for food prices but we found it convenient and comfortable to buy and cook our own. If you like a good kitchen knife, you may want to pack your own as no condo or vrbo ever provides good knives (perhaps for safety). Also a sleep mask for the second bedroom, which gets sunny early. Overall, this place provides a great home away from home. Here we were able to pick ripe grapefruit right off the tree by the back patio. Pretty sweet.

Home Away from Home

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have tried a variety of approaches to feel safe and comfortable when traveling, including B & Bs and hotels. Yet, it was our visit to Michelle's Palm Desert home where we truly felt like it was a "home away from home." Michelle's communication was impeccable and prior to our stay, we had a lovely conversation about the house and nearby sites and attractions. Once we arrived, everything was just as she had described and what we had read in prior reviews - clean, quiet and lovely furnished in a wonderful area. We loved the flexibility of being able to fix our own meals in Michelle's very well equipped kitchen. The notebook she prepared was comprehensive and informative! My sister was able to visit us during our stay and the extra bedroom with its own bathroom on the other side of the house was perfect. We are so appreciative of all of Michelle's efforts and look forward to a future visit.

Beautiful Setting In Ironwood CC

We were two couples on a golfing trip sharing this large 2 bed/2bath condominium in Ironwood CC for 10 days. Ironwood CC is a beautifully maintained and secured private area with impeccable grounds. It features wide roads with a variety of places to walk and jog. Michelle's condo was a perfect size featuring a single car enclosed garage (big enough for our rented SUV), a large kitchen, dining room and spacious living room area (with two large couches surrounding a large screen tv). Both bedrooms featured king beds and separate bathrooms. From the condo patio it was only about 10 steps to the hot tub/pool area. Her patio had a very nice table/chairs for morning dining and two large cushioned loungers. There was also a washer/dryer in a large laundry/storage room and we found the kitchen well stocked with pots, pan, silverware, cooking utensils, glassware, coffee maker, toaster oven and toaster, and a nice refrigerator/freezer with ice-maker. Michelle was so kind and responsive to any questions prior to our arrival. Check in was simple via a digital lock. We had absolutely zero issues and found our stay to be very peaceful and all that was promised on the web site. This location (at Ironwood) is so convenient since you are up from the valley a couple of miles in a very upscale area. You are within a five-minute drive to El Paseo and about 20 minutes to the airport and slightly less to LaQuinta. You are also within 15 minutes of some of the valley's nicest golf courses, restaurants and shopping. Thank you Michelle for all you did to accommodate our rescheduling of our visit to your place. It was wonderful!

Ironwood cottage!

Great location! Orange tree on both sides of patio and walk out to the pool. The property suited us well! Only thing it needed was up an grade on dresser in master and guest bedrooms. Most all bands and entertainment had started back up just in time! Wonderful time in ironwood

I love Palm Desert. Nature, Flowers, native plants & trees...Majestic mountains all around... All of that beauty, along with Shops/ Boutiques, Art Galleries, Museums, Theater, Restaurants, the Living Desert, Hiking Trails, and El Paseo is wonderful.

Also, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Jensen's for grocery shopping as well as department stores and malls are just a few minutes down the hill from where we are.

Ironwood is a very clean, manicured and safe environment where one feels wonderful looking at incredible mountains around us, and amazing landscaping throughout our community. Walking and wandering on the quiet streets of Ironwood day or night, or on El Paseo, as well as local hikes in wilderness: a lot of fun !

Relaxing by the Pool and Jacuzzi or just lounging on the Daybed of our large covered patio feels great as well :)

Why they chose this property

The Zen Pool Villa is a one story, end unit attached Garden Villa. It is located just a few steps from the jacuzzi and pool. Unless on busy Holidays and weekends, the pool and spa are not used very much, and feel like they are there just for you :)

The covered patio is deep and long and allows relaxing in the fresh air, protected from the sun and the elements. Daybed for two people, as well as an outdoor table and chairs for 4.

What makes this property unique

The Ironwood Country Club offers unparalleled beauty - flowers, plants, trees. Very well maintained grounds, and wide streets meandering through the neighborhood. It is very clean, and serene, and safe. Beautiful walks, and a lovely Meditation Garden. Private and quiet, due to being behind the gates at Ironwood. Minutes to El Paseo, and yet away from the noise of shops, restaurants, galleries, museums and the Living Desert. 20 mns from all the fun in Palm Springs. Pool and Jacuzzi are heated from October 25 to May 25.

Set against the mountains, it feels like being in nature, and yet very civilized and comfortable.
