Host interaction. Check in is at 4:00, we drove all the way from Michigan and did not gain access until 5:00! I received messages all week for early check-in with a fee! It doesn't seem right that they want to charge a fee to check in early but don't refund me anything for having to check in late on their end! However, I do love the place so I already rebooked for next year! Hopefully we don't have this issue next year!

The location and the view were fantastic. We loved it. I was a little skeptical at first reading all the reviews. But it was as described. It was decent clean, and it was perfect for our little family vacation.

My room had a few minor issues. It wasn’t fully clean and the sofa bed was no good , it was worn out. Very uncomfortable to sit and sleep on but tje actual bed were life! The slept really good. They had plent of range and towels in the bathroom. The kitchen was nice and the view was amazing. I’d definitely book with them again

Nice

We’ve stayed at Camelot numerous times. Never a bad thing to say. For the money, our unit was 5 star. Having said that, few minor issues. Not a deal breaker for us by any stretch. Bedding and furniture are getting tired. Should be updated in the not too distant future. For some strange reason the only place to get hot water was in the shower. Like I said minor issues. We enjoyed our stay and would book again.

I have never given a negative lodging review but ...

this was bad. Property not secure upon arrival - one door wouldn't close let alone lock (Mgmt company did correct), filthy rug, no comforters (40 degrees outside) & heat did not work well on bedroom side, greasy stove, lumpy pullout & BLOOD stains on the pullout cover was final proverbial straw - we left close to midnight and didn't stay although we had biz mtgs in the early AM. It didn't feel safe and felt very dingy. Building elevator also wobbled and shook; hot tub was lukewarm when we checked it out. Looks cute in photos but it's not. Also mgt company requires photos and multiple docs signed after booking - including cc photos - a lot of bother. We've stayed oceanfront in this location before (same price point) and it was wonderful - this was bad.

Hi Linda, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We want to clarify a few things regarding your stay. Our team ensures that all units are thoroughly cleaned, with fresh linens, comforters, and fully functional heating systems, before each guest’s arrival. We also maintain records from our cleaners as proof of the property's condition. We're sorry if any of this was not up to your expectations during your stay. We understand the hot tub and elevator amenities are important, and we apologize for any inconvenience. Unfortunately, these are outside of our control, but we always aim to address any issues as quickly as possible when brought to our attention. The documentation and ID verification process is a standard procedure to protect both guests and owners, similar to hotel check-in practices, and helps prevent fraudulent bookings. We’re sorry that your experience was not as you had hoped, and we appreciate your understanding.
