Island Park Solitude, Yellowstone Getaway

Summary:
Enjoy solitude and serenity on this 2-acre, heavily wooded property. This recently remodeled home will serve as the perfect basecamp for adventure in Island Park and Yellowstone.

The Space:
Enjoy the woodsy, outdoor space with a BBQ and large fire pit for campfires and smores under the stars. With 2 bedrooms and a bonus bunk bed room (large walk-in closet) included, this house is not one to pass up. The kitchen is stocked with basic cooking essentials. No pets at this time.

To access the home, you'll drive 1/2 mile on a rough dirt road. Although both the Yale Creek Road and Pine Crest Drive are frequently accessed in the summer with FWD vehicles, it would be ideal to have AWD or 4WD in the winter. The roads are plowed, however, the ruts and snow are best handled with AWD or 4WD.

Guest Access:
Please do not attempt to access the locked shop / garage. You may park vehicles and toys in the lean-to covered shed. Lights and power are available there.

The Neighborhood:
This home is amazingly situated in a beautiful, wild landscape. Deer and moose frequent the 2-acre property.

Getting Around:
Although tucked away in Island Park, the home is only 31 miles from West Yellowstone. About 11 miles away is "Robins Roost," a small grocery store. The nearest small airport is in West Yellowstone, but you may be flying into the Idaho Falls airport (87 miles), Jackson Hole airport (115 miles) or Bozeman airport (121 miles). Idaho Falls gives you the quickest access to Island Park.
