The location is fantastic, even though there are some houses around, it feels secluded and is a great getaway. The hot tub is so comfortable and we enjoyed being able to have a relaxing soak at night. Being able to just sit on the porch in the rocking chairs and relax while drinking coffee was wonderful too.The surroundings are beautiful with the Nantahala river nearby and the little stream that runs beside the house.My wife, me, and our dogs all enjoyed relaxing the stay at Cabin Fever!

We had a wonderful long weekend in the mountains. This was our second time staying at this property. Everything is very clean and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need.

Great mountain getaway

This cozy cabin had everything we needed and then some! Great location for a remote mountain getaway that is close to whitewater rafting, kayaking, and waterfall sightseeing!

Tipton Tree House Cabin

Very secluded, and makes you feel like you are in a treehouse. Owners are very nice to deal with would recommend. Great hiking opportunities all around cabin.

This is the best cabin that we have stayed at so far! The owners were very accommodating and the cabin is a precious jewel hidden back away from everything besides nature and the sounds of water!

Perfect Cabin experience. Cabin was clean, cozy, and well equipped. Location is very good for enjoying mountain excursions. We returned each evening to the warm glow of the cute cabin with all the comforts of home.

Weekend getaway

Our Family of 3 stayed here for thanksgiving weekend. Very secluded and quiet location, just what we were looking for a weekend getaway . The house was very cozy, clean, and well stocked. We enjoyed nearby fishing and reading and relaxing by the fireplace. Thanks!

Great place

The cabin is remote, private, and very comfortable. The frigid temperature outside didn't affect how cozy we were inside, beside the fire. This was our second visit to this location in the dead of winter. It is a wonderful place to retreat.

Wonderful 2nd Stay

This was our 2nd visit and we already know we will be back. Just a very comfortable place in the middle of peace and tranquility. We enjoy the amenities that are available and there is hiking accessible close by without even getting in a car. We tank the owners for their use of this place

Such a great and remote place

I loved listening to the stream and enjoying the hot tub that was great, just next to the stream. Amazing view. Great stocked kitchen. I loved not having cell phone service so I really could disconnect from things, the whole reason I went.

This cabin has it all!

We have stayed at this cabin before and everything it has to offer keeps bringing us back. This property never disappoints and is always very well supplied and stocked with all you need for a comfortable stay. It is secluded, quiet, and situated on a beautiful piece of property. Plenty to do in the surrounding areas. We are regulars at this cabin for a reason and it is our first choice for a mountain get-away!

Great Get-away

The location was perfect for us. It was so relaxing to sit on the deck and listen to the stream beside the cabin. Because of the location, it felt like we were in a tree-house. The cabin was beautiful, comfortable and very well maintained. We were close to the lake and the views around the lake were gorgeous. We will definitely book this cabin again. Great stay

Clean and tidy. Very isolated cabin with access to trails. Exactly what we and the dog wanted! Stayed for 6 nights and ate out 2x and went food shopping x1. Didn’t need to go anywhere else, hiked from the cabin! Hot tub clean and great location. This is great for 2 people and a dog, we really had a great time and Debbie was very accommodating with our late booking!

3rd Visit Still a 5 Star Stay

My wife and I stayed for our 3rd time during the 1st week of October. It was fortunate that the place was still there after Hurricane Helene caused so much devastation so near by. The home has everything you would want to enjoy time with your significant other and relax in the comfort of the beauty and serenity that the North Carolina mountains offers you. We thank our hosts Debbie and Dave for the use of their home and I am sure we will be back again.
